Is Vince Young a good start this week? (1 Viewer)

He's thrown for over 250 yds and one TD in each of his past 2 games.

Vick is out and McCoy is listed as questionable.

Even though Maclin is out there are plenty of able bodies to catch balls.

Has the ability to make plays with his legs.

Seahawks D is middle of the road, better than most against passing TDs but weaker than most in passing yards against.

Thursday night spotlight in what should be his last regular season start this season.

For those that have suffered at QB this may be the best option this week.

Bloom said in one of him morning "tweets" that Young is a top 15 QB this week.
yeah, and he also called out VY as a good start this week on his waiver wire podcast. There are a lot of reasons for optimism to plug him in if your starting QB isn't getting it done. Also, note that Doug Baldwin is a nice play with S. Rice out. This game looks like imo it could be a shootout.

I'm certainly looking that direction.

In my play 2 QB league that favors passing QB's a "tad" more then

it does the running ones I have the following 3 QB's to choose 2 from.

Carson Palmer, Oak QB (last weeks points were 25)

Vince Young, Phi QB (last weeks points were 42)

Tim Tebow, Den QB (last weeks points were 20)

I'm leaning Palmer and Young, I've been rolling with Palmer an Tebow

but I'm seriously thinking I have a good shot at more points with Young?

Anyone else want to add some thoughts to this? I'm all ears...

(I think I rank Young higher then either of my other 2 this week)

Starting him over Palmer. Young is a good safe play. He scared me a bit when he initially took over but he seems to be getting comfortable and should put up points.

starting the Eagles QB is always smart. i think blaine gabbert or tyler palko could put up fantasy numbers under andy reid.

I see a loot of people are pretty high on Young this week..

Any chance of him getting any more starts as well down the stretch?

Lets assume the birds lose again, dallas wins again. Whats the chance that vick doesnt return to the field and young plays the rest of the way?

Would have been nice if Cooper had gotten a TD earlier.

You ever hear that lil' voice in your head that says to never start a non-Seahawk non-stud in Seattle and you just ignore it?

Played Young instead of Big Ben. This week decides whether or not I get into the playoffs. My opponent had Marshawn Lynch. Not a good start.

His picks don't even make sense they're so bad. His problem has always been mental and that sometimes cant be fixed. Good luck in all your endeavors.

Yes, and it got me a lot of points with Helu in week 12.

Those last two picks were especially helpful.
:goodposting: In one league, all I have to do is win and I seal my division and possibly a bye. My opponent has the Seattle D. A few minutes left and just 6 points. Two horrible picks later and voila they have 16. If I lose by 10 or less, arrggghhh...it would put a nice bow on what has been a season of this in all of my leagues. Never been more frustrated in many years of FF with injuries early in games and crap like this.

So I had VY on my bench and Moore as my starter. I was getting ready to plug in VY because of all the praise he was getting and something deep inside my FF experience said NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Thankfully I didn't start him

Also, I played the rent a defense last week with SEA and got killed, 5 points and a loss by 2 pts.

This week they light it up when they aren't supposed to against a tougher team. Both games were at home, what gives? Any SEA homers know?
