Not scientific, just your gut opinion.P.S. No gray area.
Actually there is a gray area for discussion. The original question seems to be seeking fantasy perspective by the mere fact that it's posted in the SP where people will judge the majority opinions visualized from the poll for fantasy perspective. But in fantasy perspective, the season typically ends earlier than the NFL season does. It's quite possible that McGahee doesn't see another game as a fantasy option for some, but does see another NFL start. However, I think we'll see him again regardless of which perspective we're talking about it. If the Bills think otherwise, they should have put him on IR already.

I voted no...I think with 3 broken ribs to heal and the pain that goes along with that type of injury and the fact that the Bills season is over makes me lean to Done for the season.

I worded the choices poorly, yes means he's done while no means he will return. I hope that I didn't confuse anyone. With the vote as close as it is one could conclude that we don't have a clear opinion.

It makes me hope he's done for the season. Let him rest and recover, hit the off season hard and draft some people who can block.

There are a lot of games left. I think he's out at least 3 or 4 weeks, but he will come back towards the very end of the season.

I agree - I think he'll be back in time for most FF playoffs - how effective he will be is another question.

Chances are he'll be back, but what good is he if the Bills decide to split carries? LT wasn't very effective last year with a rib injury so I wouldn't expect much out of McGahee.

If A-Train playes well over the next two weeks I bet they don't rush him back.
He better play well the next two weeks as it does not get easier than against the Colts and Texans. After that Thomas will be stuffed. If he can't run on those two teams, he is destined for mediocrity the rest of his career.

Was he destined for something better than mediocrity before McGahee got hurt?

It's only midway through the season and I doubt he'll be out 2 months with the rib injury. One month, maybe. I'd likely say 3-4 weeks.

He better be back. I made a big dynasty trade to get him. I probably gave up too much but I felt like the depth at RB and his soft playoff schedule could help put me over the top this year. Then he goes and gets hurt. He has to come back. That's all there is too it. :football:

Travis Henry played through the 2003 season with torn rib cartilage and a broken leg. McGahee doesn't want to be labelled a Nancy now, does he?
