Itunes Help Please (1 Viewer)

On my Macbook, Itunes won't play any TV shows or movies that I've downloaded. I push play and the screen goes black but nothing appears. It will play deleted scenes from a movie but not the actual movie. This just started and I have restarted the machine several times. I believe the same content will play on Apple TV but haven't checked yet.

Any thoughts?

Yes and the problem might have started when I did the most recent update.

I am getting the following message:

iTunes cannot connect to Store Purchases.


If you have any firewall software, make sure it has been set to allow communication on port 443.



I don't think I have a firewall and certainly haven't installed one in the last few days.

Is iOS updated? The new one sucks so far but having the newest version to go with iTunes might be the trick.

I had a similar problem with my iPOD after I went to Windows 10 on my PC. I googled the problem and someone had made a 90 second video on how to fix the problem. Issue resolved.
