Ok, im kinda pissed off by the whole ordeal with VICK but i will stay fair as he isnt convicked of anything yet.

ANYWAY this goldenboy was on nearly ALL of my teams pretty much as my QB1. 3 of my dynasty leagues have favorable scoring towards rushing qb's. Thus making Vick a top qb almost every year.

I also had been trying to aquire Kitna this offseason in alot of leagues justto hold the fort down as Vick/Vince are great but just incase.

Here are my qb situations:

A few of my teams are covered, the ones that have kitna are ok, the OSWS team needs someone aside from Vince who is dealing with his own issues (lack of talent at wr/madden). The HA2 team i wouldnt mind trying to get Vick for cheap, i mean who knows whats gonna happen.

I always liked Vick and he was one of the most exciting players for me to watch since i been in fantasy. Tuff break for him when so much is counted on him. He is atlanta football and a mega face of the NFL. But these guys are human i guess and have to deal with life just as if they dont have no money is guess.

Just like i was KUKU for Bush, and he went through alot of negativity, on the field the guys is just amazing. Portis and Ocho Cinco are a few of my other favortie players to watch and have on my fantasy teams, but it seems trouble can happen to the best of them.

So what are you fellas doing in similar situation. NO WAY i will be cutting him at all....unless he is banned by the league. Trade him off? Trade for him?

My buddy who is an Atlanta homer just picked up DJ Shockley, convinced he's gonna be the starter.

Not sure that helps you, but it would be a similar fit.

Seriously, why would you roster him on almost all of you teams unless each league rewarded running QB's through the roof ie. 3 pts/passing TD, 6 pts/rushing TD? I could see your point if it was Payton Manning that you had rostered on every team, but Vick??? He's been a terrible field general and a very weak QB overall. Like I said earlier, unless you are being rewarded in a big way for having a running QB, I can't see why you placed allof your eggs in Vick's basket.

If Vick-owners waived/cut/dropped him, would you pick him up? In 10-12 team dynasty or large keeper leagues. I WOULD...AM I WRONG?

Adam Schefter just reported Vick is unlikely to be suspended for the season. On NFL Live, Jackson and "Stink" don't believe he is capable of preparing on weeks where Vick has court dates. On one hand he should play, on the other...can he perform under ALL THIS PRESSURE.

Mike Vick is a starter/backup/bye week/trade bait*albeit a discounted price* qb.Trading him away will at least rid you of any pending headaches. I believe plenty of owners are willing to take a chance on Vick-gate, especially lowly teams. Mike Vick must have servicable value. Im talking at least average value depending on dynasty league format.

I dont see why people shouldn't continue to roster him. Leaving all morals at the front door.

Retaining and possibly playing him gives you a viable qb. No need to breakdown Atlantas offense or current state of affairs.

Auction/Salary Leagues: Where Vick has a high $$$ tag is probably the worst situation for an owner.

Contract Leagues: Where cutting players offseason clears his contract off the books. Waiving him during the season may have worse downsides. What to do?

Keeper Leagues*depending on size*: Where owners like UNDACOVA BRUDDA are using him as their #1qb instantly creates a major need for teams without backups. Luckily UCB has Kitna and Vince, most teams will not be this lucky.

Redrafts: Too much uncertainty to be a high-mid round pick. Maybe QB2 or borderline QB1.

Owners should keep him or pick him up, if you can use him this season alone or are willing to wait 3 years before he returns.

07-08: Should play. Could be suspended after his sentencing or after judgement.

08-09: If not suspended this season, look for a large suspension next season 10-16 games. Beacuse he will be found guilty. LA radio claims the FBI team has a 95% con-vick-tion(borrowed from another thread) rating.

09-10: Back in the League. Can you wait this long? Im sure a couple of you can.

Im waiting for owners to drop him...am i wrong? In most formats.

People always say you need to gamble at times to win championships. Is this one of those times? Time is of the essence for some owners. Vick could be on your WW right now. How long do you wait to add or cut bait?

Shockley can't even juke a golf cart how is he going to avoid a 245 LB who moves side to side? Shockley is Arena Football material.

I don't know a scoring system in which Michael Vick isn't a stud quarterback. Every year he's been healthy he's played at a level of at least a top-10 quarterback. There are many reasons why it may not have the best decision to put all your eggs in the Vick basket. Talent and productivity however are not among them.I don't play in keeper or dynasty leagues but if I did I would still hold onto Michael Vick. Whether he should be suspended or not will be argued until the cows come home but right now he isn't. Don't be stupid and drop him for no reason. At the same time trade him if a good deal comes along. None of that lowball crap.

I picked up Harrington before he went to the Falcons. Nice break for me, I guess.

I also picked up Garcia for a song in off season bidding.

I am keeping Vick for the time being, as I don't think he would bring much. I do have him signed to an extension which is expensive in this league, but I will wait until a bit more information is forthcomming before I do anything.

I am leaving morals at the door, he is an investment as far as FF is concerned.
