analyze who of the two you like and why in a ppr dynasty... positives,negatives,x-factors welcome... trying to also project stats I got Best getting the following in 2010

200 carries 900 yards 4.5 ypc

40-50 catches 400-500 yards

6-8 tds

so 1300-1400 total yards 40-50 catches and 6-8 tds that puts him 220-240points range

not bad for a rook.. I know you have the concussion factor for Best but I think that is a fluke... the whole play was amazing how he got shot up in the air over 10 feet, anyone would have had a headache after that hit, he had to be rushed to the hospital, could have died. as for the positives on Best I see a Detroit lions team on turf who lacks superior running and receiving from a rb and he could be used early and often in 2010.. I may be a little biased because I live near Detroit and Im excited to see Best here, reminds me of Barry.

L.Mccoy I see him in 2010

240 carries for 1080 for 4.5 ypc

40 catches for 400 yards

8-9 tds

1480 total yards 40-50 catches and 8-9 tds that equals to about 248 points ppr

Mccoy may outscore Best by a little this year but I think Best has Higher ceiling... what do you guys think?

You're too high on the McCoy's YPC and number of carries. They had 300 carries for RBs last year. I'd see about a 50/30/20 split between McCoy, Bell, and Weaver. Assuming McCoy is at least as effective as Bell (which isn't a given). He got 637 yards on 155 carries last year, he might not get much more than that this year.

I think you are low on his catches. Bell can't catch as well, so we'll see more bleedover from Westbrook's stats. He had 40 for 308 last year, so he'll probably get 55 for 500 or so this year.

He's not a great big play RB at this level and both the other RBs are better in the endzone. 5 TDs would be a good number for him.

1150 total yards, 55 receptions, 5 TDs

That's a solid #2 RB in PPR and a little meh in standard leagues. Tim Hightower-esque.

Best's upside is a lot higher. I think the worst case is he's at the same NFL-readiness as McCoy. He should be a better big play guy (but we won't know til he sees the field). Your estimates for Best look pretty solid to me and would have him slightly above McCoy for 2010.

Yea after I posted I looked and 4.5 is a little high but I think its possible.. I see weaver going back to FB more and not getting that many carries... Bell may get some I see it 60-30-10 or something like that> I have read that Mccoy is looking way better this year... look at how horrible Moreno was last year but they are saying 1200 and 50 catches...we will see
