I Love Doggies
DYNASTY FORMAT:

How do you rank thes players, and why ?

1. Brian Calhoun - could step in soon if KJ falters

2. Jerious Norwood - groomed to replace WDunn ?

3. Jerome Harrison - lacks the size to be an every down back in the NFL.

1. Norwood - Biased. He is extremely talented and was unfortunate to play on some awful MSU teams. Dunn is good, but getting a little long in the tooth. Norwood can run inside and out.2. Calhoun - KJ is in front of him, and is young. Calhoun is talented, but I think KJ is more talented.

3. Harrison - A late round pick. Maybe in a few years he sees more carries, but by that time Cleveland probably picks another feature back to replace Reuben.

I like Norwood's college success running behind a mediocre (at best) offensive line against tough competition.

Bodes well for his situation in Atlanta.

1. Calhoun

2. Norwood

3. Harrison

Calhoun looks like a solid all-around player with the potential to eventually be a starter in certain systems.

Norwood looks great, but he screams "RBBC" to me. He's so tall and skinny that I just don't see him ever being the kind of back that FF teams can bank on.

Harrison is a nice player, but I don't think he's good enough to earn consistent playing time at the NFL level. He'd have to land in the perfect situation to make a big FF impact.

Calhoun is 5'10" 194 lbs He might just blow away like a :tumbleweed:

You got to have Maurice Drew in this discussion. Here is how I rank them:

Calhoun - Like what I've seen of him, he is just a good player. Not the best situation due to Jones, but he did stink it up last year. The Lions had plenty of needs, didn't have a 4th, and used their 3rd on Calhoun.

Drew - I could see him and Greg Jones becoming similar to Dunn/Duckett.

Norwood - Agree with EBF, watching tape on this guy he looked to be all skinny legs. Couldn't help but think those knees are going to get jacked up.

Harrison - He could end up as a nice 3rd down back.

He was 5'9" 201 at the combine. That's certainly not huge, but we're talking about three smurfish backs here.

Not to mention that anyone who watched him last year can atest for the fact that he is able to put his shoulders down and run over people, and he also proved last year that he can carry a heavy workload, as he had several games where he was close to 40 carries. He doesn't look big on first glance, but I saw nothing last year that made me question his size on the football field.

Since were talking rookie RB's anybody have any thoughts on PJ Daniels (5'10" + 210lb) in Baltimore? Last report I saw was ahead of smith on depth chart for 3rd down back.
