J.Harrison (1 Viewer)

Rest of the season? Yes I believe so..even if he splits carries, he will be like Leon Washington-lite with his ability to catch the ball and make something of it. Next year? I really think they are going to go for a top 3 round RB, not in a situation to "compete", but to take the reigns.

Agreed, though I think Harrison has a strong enough skill set that he will be used quite a bit. IF he stays with Cleveland I think he could be a solid flex/#3.

RE: Harrison... Dude has oozed skills for the last three seasons but not been close to starting. Wether it be J Lewis or when he broke down, Wright, Davis or anyone else they could throw in there. Really difficult to understand, especially over two coaches. Something must be off with the guy that FFers don't see. My eyes and heart thinks that he will be given every chance to play, my mind and memory tells me that Cle will probably bring in someone and Harrison won't be given much of a chance next year.

Jerome Harrison lost a lot of PT because his pass blocking sucked. He got a lot of PT against the Chargers and did ok, and even drew some praise from Mangini on improving. This could go two ways.

1. If Harrison continues to show improvement in his pass blocking, he might get decent playing time.

2. If he regresses again and gives up some loud sacks, he could find himself glued on the bench for the rest of the season.

If you play him, you're hoping for 1, but be aware you are risking 2. Harrison also has no track record of being a consistent pass blocker.

I'd keep him on the fantasy bench. I want to see consistency in his pass blocking before playing him, unless I had no other options. Of course that means if he does show consistency, I'll miss some productive games from him. Also consider we're running out of season and it may just be too late for me to ever feel confident in him the rest of the way.

:football: This post nails it. Go with Harrison at your own peril.
