Jacobs week 10 vs DAL (1 Viewer)

Given the matchup vs DAL with Giants at home This appears to be a great game to start Jacobs with confidence. Im betting 75 ys plus 2 TD's .. :football: Im playing him over all CAR RB's (incl Goodson), Blount, Beanie in PPRs.

I am starting him as a flex also, what was the deal last week though? Bradshaw with 2 short TD's... Jacobs needs to regain the vulture role

My concern with Jacobs is that the left side of the line will be LT Shawn Andrews getting his 2nd start vs. Ware and LG will be either Kevin Boothe who just came off the PUP (most likely starter) or 5th round Rookie Mitch Petrus. Andrews did well against Clemons, but from what I've read, Ware is in a different league than Clemons. Seubert who usually starts at LG will be at center for the injured O'Hara.

Jacobs is best running between the tackles. With the left side of the line shaky, Jacobs will probably only be able to run to the right. The defense should catch on and load up to stop him.

Bradshaw can get outside and run counters. I expect a big day for Bradshaw.

Jacobs may get garbage time but I don't think he'll be much of a factor in the main game plan, unless he vultures TDs, which he didn't last week on two short yardage TD runs against a Seahawks defense missing some starters.

Just seems like with last weeks lack of short looks this week will balance. Just assuming trends and averages this looks like a bounce back game for him as a flex. Im sure Bradshaw will get his but if your options are limited due to bye or inj issues Jacobs could be gold this week.. Given the size of DAL on the line Jacobs is the better option up the middle

Is Dallas considered small or big on the Line? If small then possibly Jacobs can get some stuff done. If they are big, then I think the Giants would go with the faster, more agile back since that would be the weakness rather than trying to run into the line.

The three listed starters in their 3-4 all average around 310, FWIW. No idea if that would have any bearing whatsoever on which back the Giants used or not. Given how hot they have been I would say it won't. Bradshaw will get the lion's share of the reps. Jacobs will get his. Both will likely be productive. It's been working that way for a month or more now, so why change it up?Who gets the TDs is anyone's guess, at this point, after how they used Bradshaw last week.

For what its worth, I know at least one of Bradsahws TD's came after an INT or fumble or something? Point is Giants started the drive close to the goal line, and so it could be they just sent the starters out there which led to Bradhsaws td. Had it been a longer drive they might have brought in a fresh Jacobs for the goal line... Again, take it for what it worth but just an observation

Dallas doesnt have a big defensive front. Olshansky, RDE, is the one true run stuffer. Ratliff, the NT, is a penetrator, not a big plugger. Their other DE, Spears, just got put on IR. The new starter, Bowen, is more of a passrush guy. I expect NYG to have success running right, over LDE Bowen. This also seems to match the strength of the Giants OL.
