JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- The Jacksonville Jaguars have forfeited their final two organized team activities to resolve a complaint filed against the team regarding the intensity and tempo of drills.

The Jaguars settled the unspecified complaint with the NFL Management Counsel and the NFL Players Association on Thursday. It was unknown who filed the complaint and when.

Coach Jack Del Rio was scheduled to address the situation later Thursday. Jacksonville canceled practices Monday and Tuesday, their final two on-field workouts before training camp.

The NFL's collective bargaining agreement sets rules for OTAs, which are non-contact drills without pads. Teams practice in shorts, shirts and helmets.

Oakland and Baltimore were penalized for similar infractions last week.

I always wonder if NFL GMs and Coaches try to find out which player(s) reported the team for complaining about "the intensity and tempo of drills"

The old school players are also likely to find this amusing, as there was zero concerns voiced about "intensity and tempo" in their day. I am sure that Mike Singletary would have some great commentary on the subject.

Correct me if I am wrong, but in the "old days" football wasn't year round with these OTA's. So the "old timers" son't know about this stuff.

I'm actually sympathetic with the players on this one. The OTA drills are supposed to be non-contact. All you need is a freak injury that excessive contact can cause to give the team an excuse to cut you and toss you away. In the olden days, there was more of an implied trust, but the oligarchy NFL owners have been freezing players out on extensions and general negotiations. Unless I was a camp body that was fighting to make the team, I'd want to dog the drills as much as possible and train vigorously on my own. You never saw a year like this one where 3 teams (Ravens, Raiders, Jags) had to cut short OTA's because of a player's snitch.
