**Jaguars at Titans** (+4.5, 42.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

If the Jags lose today, that’s 5 out of 6 losses. Steelers have won 3 in a row since they made the QB change. But yeah the Jags deserve to be in. Lol

fred, nobody outside of Steelers fans wants to see that pathetic offense play anybody. Especially a Watt-less team.
Kansas City fans probably would like to see the Steelers in the playoffs. Or technically the Dolphins if they tied the Bills tonight.
Texans fan would rather play at KC than home vs Browns but could be in the minority
I always would take the home field advantage in the playoffs. It is just so big.
Yep. I get that I’d rather play the chiefs but home is more important.
Not sure how it’s more important
That takes all the pressure off the Bills
Do they now have anything to play for and wonder if Fins will sit their studs if they get a lead given what happened to them blowout loss vs Ravens

Trevor Lawrence honestly sucks, ya'll. What a garbage throw. Dude was born 6'4" with an absolute cannon of an arm but he's got nothing else in the tool kit.
I think he is a pretty good runner and it would help his game to incorporate that more. Have always thought he is a bit overrated but admit that may be because I hate his college. I think he is a lot closer to a guy like Levis than most thought he would be coming out.

KC would be a great matchup IMO.. Their offense is bad
Plus zero pressure nobody would expect Texans to win at KC
Ridley was wide open deep
Me before the snap: Ok Titans, you just need to make sure Ridley doesn’t beat you deep

Me as Lawrence launches it deep seeing Ridley 8 yards behind the deepest safety: WTF you doing Tennessee?!

I think Texans would have a better chance in KC than home against Cleveland. But I wanted Cleveland just the same. Playing with house money, let's drop it all on the roulette wheel.

I don't know if anyone ever evaluated him objectively after he was the #1 high school guy who then went to play for a stacked team.

He was just....inserted as the top guy, and that was it.

Trevor Lawrence is the most overrated QB in the NFL. Misses so many open throws. I wish he faced anywhere near the microscope that other QBs do. Its like he's gotten an infinite pass because of the Urban Meyer season.

He's a lot closer to Baker Mayfield that his reputation seems to be. Personally, as a Bears fan, I wouldn't swap Fields for Lawrence. Like Mayfield, I also think Lawrence is responsible for a lot of his own injuries with how long he holds the ball.

Bills are now in, but #2 seed vs #6 seed is huge, especially as the options are banged up Steelers missing their best player, or potential/likely sleeping giant KC.

QB playing with an injured throwing shoulder. Who took a shot on that shoulder early in the game. Commentary about games pre-injury are fine, but I don't see a reason to heavily critique his throws this game.

I mean I'm great with Lawrence being a bust if he is, him in the division and all. I just don't think judging today is a fair case.

Steelers have wins over Rams, Ravens 2x, and were 5-1 vs the North (which turned out to be the best division in the league)

I think that they stink is so over done here. I get they aren't SF or Miami on Offense, but they won 10 games and had some decent wins. Still think they can win a playoff game and believe they match up well vs the Ravens and Browns.

Actually aren't they 7th if they lose?

Some guy yesterday argued with me that TL should get a pass cause Urban ruined him. If TL is as talented as advertised, the coach should not affect him that much. He is now on what, year 2 with DP as HC and hasn't improved much at all.

The illegitimate seed lol

Not sure how it’s more important
You don’t see how a division title and home playoff game is more important than playing the defending champ on the road in a stadium with real HF advantage?
KC isn’t as good as Browns anyone watching football would agree. Browns defense looks the best in AFC. What does last years KC team have to do with it? Nothing. Texans have a history of bad home playoff losses. On the road vs. Buff or KC easier vs elite defense and QB playing out of his mind. You’re acting like Texans are unbeatable at home.

Not at all. But let’s not act like beating KC in Arrowhead in the playoffs would be easy.

And beating the Browns is easy at home? Browns beat us in Houston (yes without Stroud) and at Ravens. Haven’t really convinced playing vs Browns at home is easier. This isn’t the same Buffalo or KC teams I’d agree if last season.

As I originally said, I think they had a better chance of beating the chiefs as a WC. But it definitely won’t be easy for any team and I’d value the division title and a home game more than that slightly better chance (imo).

Never said one team easy the other isn’t. Said I’d feel like we have better shot playing someone other than Browns. If Texans lost at home by 14 points to the Browns much more disappointing than losing by 14 on road at KC for example. Also threw in Buffalo.

The only thing we’re disagreeing about is that I think a home game and division title matter.
Partly because it’s a first year HC and rookie QB.

Jags fans still livid about this on X and I totally understand.
That said, I'd be shocked if anyone is fired as a result of one game.

Texans history has playoff wins and division titles didn’t mean anything. They had awful playoff losses. Playoff wins I would say trumps division titles and home games. Currently Texans are underdogs -2.5 hopefully Texans more prepared the Browns threw the kitchen sink at them while the Browns didn’t get to face Stroud.
Perhaps you’re not a Texans fan but winning postseason games is number one. Winning on the road vs a team like KC even better. You play prime time. Playing against Browns you play the least desirable time slot.
I will admit I’m wrong since they aren’t favored they aren’t supposed to win vs Browns so the win will mean more. I still feel like browns more dangerous than KC will see.

I think that’s an interesting question.

Would you rather have your team finish as a WC, win one game and lose in the second round OR win the division and lose the first game.

I really don’t know which is better but you get a banner for winning the division

But it isn’t one game. There’s not much excuse for Jacksonville not making the playoffs this year.
