Jamal Charles Playoff Schedule - Looking good? (1 Viewer)

People who have been holding on to Charles may be rewarded at the end of the season in a big way. He's getting 20+ carries per game and he's got a nice schedule at the end of the season here:

13 vs Panthers 25th against the run

14 at Browns 19th against the run

15 at Raiders 28th against the run

16 vs Colts 20th against the run

Bryce Brown just had a field day against the Panthers. I would Expect a top 5 finish for JC.

He definitely has serious upside the rest of the way. Just wish they'd consistently get him the ball 3-5 times a game through the air. You see what the Raiders are doing with Reece and wonder why can't the Chiefs do it with Charles, who's far more talented?

Then I realize they're the Chiefs.

But I do like Charles' value going forward. Plus he's due for another long TD or two. Seems like he's real close to getting one.

Loving him down the stretch here. Unfortunately in the one league I own him in, I will not make the playoffs ( due to his suckage earlier in the season). I rolled the dice and lost on charles this year.

I know, its not apples to apples, but if I see him gash the Panthers this week like Bryce Brown did, I'm going to have a hard time sitting him in Week 15, regardless of matchups I may have elsewhere. That playoff schedule did look real inviting before the season started and I had forgotten about it pretty much as the chiefs have just been terrible. But since that one 5 carry day, the Chiefs have at least given him enough touches to do something. It will be fun to watch this week and see.

After last night I'm horrified at the thought of facing him at home vs the Panthers this week in a game I need to win to clinch a bye. Uggh. If I could give him 125 and 1 TD now I probably would. Fearing worse than that.

His playoff schedule was always the reason I stuck with him through those ####ty games. Now, they seem to be feeding him the ball consistently. He should have some really nice games coming up.

He looked solid against Pitt and Denver who I think are really solid rush D's. Cinci is ok, but he went over 100 yds combined on that and was fine in PPR. Him losing some touches earlier probably kept his legs fresh for this run of bad D's and I'm starting him with confidence weeks 13 to (hopefully) 16.

Anyone know what the status with the O-line's injuries are? Are they back to the same unit they had early in the year?

Per NFL Network: Chiefs will do a moment of silence for "all the victims of domestic violence"...the Chiefs players have decided that Belcher's locker will be left intact...and Jamaal Charles' wife is the victim's cousin and Charles introduced Belcher to her.
Anyone worried about how Charles will respond in this game?

Not really. Once the game gets going, I expect these guys to all play how they normally do. I was a little worried, but I think Charles will be fine against the Panthers. I don't expect this to energize him for his friend or demoralize him. Not easy to deal with, but I think the game will help them escape it for a bit.

Good point. He looks to be playing well so far
