jamal lewis adp? (1 Viewer)

His ADP was already low. The rest is just precautionary according to head coach, Billick. Shouldn't effect ADP at all, use it to your advantage, but I wouldn't shy away because of hip flexor. Better indication of his success will be Oline, as long as they stay healthy I wouldn't drop him any. Balt. brass wants to see what Musa can do with first team anyway. Jamal is the starter and despite the limp in his normal walk, has looked strong in preseason.

Yep that's right, has walked gingerly through entire camp. He looks very strong, good burst and acceleration when running. Would still take him outside of top ten RBs this year, lots of question marks from top to bottom at this position.

jamal lewis adp?how far does the injury drop him?
just so you know...Lewis sustained the injury in late July, just before camp, while running sprintsstarted camp on the PUP, and rode the bike for several dayssince then, he's been pulled from the PUP, started 2 games and looked good doing itI was low on Jamal last year, as the offseason had him in the pokey for 2 months, a halfway house for 4, missing all the early camps, and comming off surgeryI am much higher on him this year, as he was in a much better frame of mind attending all off season camp/OTA's plus is playing for a contracthis current deal gives him "tagged" money w/o being tagged...rather than tag him for $6M, the Ravens gave him a $5M bonus, w/salaries of $1M in '06 and $10Mea for '07 and '08the Ravens get to spread the cap hit this year, not taking all $6M at once...and Lewis got the bulk of his money this spring, instead of getting the $6M spread over the season in the form of game checksLewis should be just outside the top 10 (where your projections are 200+ FF points for that group), in the tier of RB's that will post ~185 FF points....right around RB15, +/- 3 spotsI see ~1500 combined yds, with 6-7 scores...anymore TD's than that and he's a top 10 guy

I've read your stuff on the Ravens over the last few years and have always found you to be dead on. I like Jamal this year as well but watching the preseason games Musa seems to have an explosiveness that Jamal doesn't and has looked really good, do you see Musa getting a "tryout" later in the year or do you think they'll stick with Jamal (if healthy) all year?

The locals here in Baltimore were talking a lot about Musa after the last game. Ray Ray even mentioned how good Musa looked during an interview. Billick seems to be a faithful coach though, look how long he stayed with Boller. I predict Lewis to be a 3rd round pick with 2nd round value. The presence of Anderson and Musa hold him back a bit. I wonder why NYJ didn't go after Musa?

I grabbed Jamaal at 4.07 in a 12 team redraft on Sunday, despite the fact that I already had 2 RBs (we start 4 WRs and 1 Super Flex) as I thought that slot was real good upside value.

Is Musa Smith viewed as the real "handcuff" down in Baltimore?

He's rostered, someone took Anderson, who I view as a more limited type of role player.

I would think that Musa would get a lot of work if somehow Lewis misses some games.

Any local insight from Ravens-Land on Musa vs. Anserson being the better handcuff?
