First 8 games, 2 TD.

Yesterday, 4 TD.

And Winslow had one of those TDs they just blew the call.

An average running back at this point, better than what the Browns have had in years tho.

(2:27) 3-D.Anderson pass short right to 80-K.Winslow ran ob at SEA 1 for 14 yards
(13:29) 3-D.Anderson pass to 80-K.Winslow to SEA 2 for 13 yards
:wall: This particular game, Jamal's explosive afternoon was due to circumstance. He did not look particularly great; however, he was used in the screen game so hopefully he keeps more of a 3rd down back role going forward. His foot wasn't an issue (Rotoworld decided to blow that out of proportion), he did have burst, and he has some excellent matchups down the stretch. Definitely DO NOT sell high.

I would not call yesterday's performance explosive. A guy who runs the ball over 20 times and doesn't average at least 2.0 yards a carry is not explosive. His 4 TDs were a matter of luck, not skill.

I would call it embarrassing as an NFL RB. He's horrid. Look for Cleveland to draft a new RB somewhere in rounds 2-4.

He had a bad game....he's averaging 4.2 ypc on the season. It was 4.7 going into the game.

His remaining schedule is this:

Nov 11 @Pittsburgh 1:00pm

Nov 18 @Baltimore 1:00pm

Nov 25 Houston 1:00pm

Dec 2 @Arizona 4:05pm

Dec 9 @N.Y. Jets 4:15pm

Dec 16 Buffalo 1:00pm

Dec 23 @Cincinnati 1:00pm

Dec 30 San Francisco 1:00pm

The next two weeks are going to be brutal, but after that it looks pretty promising. I think he'll be a low end #2 RB who should be good for 70 to 100 yards with a TD every other game. He's a backup for me, but I am holding on to him just in case an injury happens to one of my starters. I might throw him in there for a game or two as well......especially that Jets game.

Where I come from 4 TDs is an explosive day. 104 total yards, 4 TDs. Explosive performance fantasy wise. YPC wise, not so much. But we are talking fantasy football here.

He's playing hurt. That foot problem is not going to go away. He's limping all the time. His value comes from the rest of his offense being very good and giving him scoring chances.

He had one exceptional game against Cincy where he ripped them for 216 yards on the ground. He hasn't had a single 100 yard game this season except for that one game. His best two games after that were ones where he tallied 64 and 61 yards respectively. Exclude the Cincy game, he's barely averaging 3 ypc. I see him as a short yardage/goal line specialist going into next year. Wright isn't anything special, so I would think they might invest in a later round RB pick in the draft. they have money tied up in Jamal, so they aren't going to spend a ton of money in his replacement just yet.

Excessive padding week 2 vs CIN (216 yards). Other than that game we are right back at horrid and a new RB soemwhere in rounds 2-4.3.2 ypc3.7 ypc2.8 ypc3.6 ypc.For a big 245 lb RB, well you get the picture. He blows. It's run into someone and fall down.

In my league I don't get points for YPC. Bottom line is he's a solid low end RB2 who's getting some TDs with potential big games down the stretch. In a redraft so I'm not interested that he'll be replaced next year.

They might do that, or free agency or give the guys they have a shot. Harrison has looked good, if he could get his blocking down.

You must love the "boom-bust" aspect to his game this season, I gather?

They didn't blow the call. The ball did not pass inside the pylon. Not on replay, not on the field, not anywhere. From a KII owner playing against Lewis. His grand total for TD runs was 6 yards. Otherwise he was 16/31 on the day against a slightly above average rush D. I was completely unimpressed, although I would've liked to have someone on the Seahawks that could get a 1 yard run. I don't think you can count on getting stopped at the 1 or 2 a lot as KII and Braylon will usually score. At best he's a lottery ticket bye week/injury filler.

Yeah, take away his 216 yard game, and his 4TD game, and he really stinks. REALLY weak arguments, guys.
What's exactly to be enamored by? The combined average 82 ypg from him? It's not like he's AdPete here. The only advantage for him going forward is that somehow the Browns are in the playoff hunt and have a favorable schedule down the stretch. If it weren't for that, I would say he is a definite sell high candidate here...

Consistently high performances come from the RBs in the top 12 or so picks. Jamal has way outproduced his average draft position; for value, how can you ask for anything more. Ask the Travis Henry, Shaun Alexander, or Maurice Jones-Drew owner who would he rather have right now, it's Jamal Lewis.

Considering I got him for next to nothing and I've got a good RB1 to carry him, I'm ok with his production. I'm primarily looking at his stretch run...
