He probably should try to work his way in through arena ball or Canadian Football.

As for leading the scout team for no money, well he obviously does not understand the League's rules very well.

Might he make an arm for somebody's camp, I suppose, he seems humbled.

Most teams already have a bag tackling dummy for pass rush drills.  The bags even realistically fumble like JaMarcus if you put a football on top of the bag.

Probably right.  Historically, NFL players are good with their money.

The pride and the ego on these guys even after the fall.

There is the CFL - try that.

The Saints just signed a QB from the German Football League. Go try that.

There's the Italian Football League, try that. Even Kobe Bryant's dad went and played in Ital when BB there was nothing.

If he says he would play for free, he should mean it and do just that.

Appearing on New York's WFAN (h/t Andrew Marchand of the New York Post), former offensive lineman David Diehl said Raiders coaches used to give Russell blank tapes to determine if he was studying film. 

Diehl noted Russell would come into the Raiders' facilities the day after receiving the tapes saying that he watched the blitz packages.

I was referring to today's report that the Raiders fed him blank video tapes to see if he noticed, and then (apparently) he lied about watching the blitz packages on the film.
