James Bond Movies (1 Viewer)

I like the one where Bond finds himself in a predicament, but uses a cool gadget to save the day and bang a hot chick. Which one was that again?

 
#1 - Casino Royale (Daniel Craig and I think his performance in this movie was the best bond ever and its not close)

#2 - Gold Finger

#3 - From Russia with Love (Cant go wrong with Robert Shaw)

they are all the same. to me they have gotten old. i had always hoped Connery would do one more
 
big fan of the Timothy Daulton Bond films. He was easily the best Bond and pretty much pwned the role.

Actually, I'll bet a whole bunch of people are going to agree with this. I'd probably put it at #1 too. Something like:1. Casino Royale2. Octo#####3. GoldfingerSubject to change based on a whim.

This is a good list, I forgot about Russia. I may move Russia to 3rd. I thought Brosnan was a good Bond when given a decent script so I'll leave Goldeneye at 2.I also grew up with Moore as Bond, but looking back on the performances they don't really stack up as well with the others. Dalton was just completely bland, but I find him bland in everything I've ever seen him in.1. Craig (I know blasphemy, especially since Quantum was not nearly as good as Casino).2. Connery (For all the classics he was in, he had some stinkers as well).3. Brosnan4. Moore5. Lazenby6. Dalton

Honorable mentions: Man With the Golden Gun and Moonraker

Not a fan of Daniel Craig as Bond. They compare more to the Bourne movies than classic Bond.

Don't care for Craig but Lazenby was clearly the worst Bond.

Craig is awesome and the film is great but I refuse to acknowledge that the new ones are "James Bond" films.Getting #####ed out by your boss, losing when you gamble, not getting the girl, begging and borrowing money, getting your a** kicked. Not James Bond.
 
I'm surprised by all the love for Octokitty. Could someone expand on that a little?

For me, it has an elderly Moore at his smirking worst, a bunch of ridiculous scenes in India, not enough screen time for the main villain Steven Berkoff, a meandering plot, a Tarzan scene and a fake alligator. Worst of all, 007 dresses as a clown which is wrong on so many levels. It's not nearly the worst Bond but it's squarely in the bottom half.

:thumbup: It's only listed because of the naughty name. Easily among the worst of the bond movies (bottom third for sure).

stopped anticipating the release of Bond movies after Octo#####, i think. Brosnan pretty much got me off them entirely, Casino Royale2 did nothing to bring me back.

 
1) the spy who loved me (love roger moore and Jaws)

2) From Russia With Love - solid plot

3) Goldeneye - best pierce brosnan film - very fun

I don't get any of the love for Octo#####.... that's really not a good Bond Movie.

I do get Casino Royale - it was awesome, but i could never forgive the NL Hold'em scenes

I also really like Goldfinger.... However Roger Moore is still my favorite Bond.. i loved the cheesy hilariousness

 
I love James Bond. I have the 50 years blue ray set (picked it up last Christmas for an incredible 39.99 gold box amazon sale)

Bond movies for me are all about the villian. These films above hands down....had the best ones IMO and of course overall were just my favorites.

Love Bond. Love that my boys are getting to an age where we can watch them together, and they enjoy them too!

Always thought we needed a pole on which Bond Actor/Chick/Villian were peoples favorites.

Go back and watch all the Roger Moore ones-low budget but great villains.

Casino Royal(Craig), From Russia, Man with the Golden gun.
