Harrison outscored Harris and just about everyone else not named Adrian Peterson in all of my leagues.

I am curious about other IDP league's scoring... Mine is a hyper-scoring dynasty league with 53-man rosters (keep 20 to 30 each year). Harrison set the all-time single player score yesterday. ADP was about 40 points behind him. I was just wondering how everyone else's IDPs relate to the offensive guys in your scoring system. I know it depends on if you reward big plays, have plays for negative points (fumbles, etc.) and a lot of other factors, but I was just curious how others have their systems set up.

here are my dynasty team LB's

Mike Peterson

David Harris

James Harrison

Demeco Ryans

Jon Beason

Lance Briggs

Gary Brackett

Omar Gaither

Both A-Pete and Harrison established single game records for points (by position) in my league. The poor sap with A-Pete still lost (went up against Brady-Bush-J. Lewis).

Top 10 in our league for week 9 ( high performance/tackle heavy custom scoring ):

55.2 Peterson, Adrian MIN RB

50.2 Brees, Drew NOS QB

37.6 Roethlisberger, Ben PIT QB

37.4 Lewis, Jamal CLE RB

36.4 Romo, Tony DAL QB

35.4 Addai, Joseph IND RB

35.0 Harris, David NYJ LB ®

32.9 Favre, Brett GBP QB

30.5 Harrison, James PIT LB

30.5 Hasselbeck, Matt SEA QB

So both Harrison and Harris where elite IDP this week

I was thinking of starting a thread to ask whether he was a sell high candidate....I'll ask in here instead.
I've tried. Seems like people still arn't sold on him despite his 8.5 sacks and almost 100 combined tackles. Right now I think he's better left on your squad unless you can get a nice deal for him. I still don't think he's reached his top value.

I think his value is effected by the idea that most people think the Steelers will switch to a 4-3 and leave out Harrison with Timmons, Farrior and another guy better suited to play OLB in a 4-3. Maybe its Harrison maybe its Foote, Haggans or another player. His age (30 when the season starts) and the fact that this is his first year starting don't help.I would only make a move for him if it came cheap and I'd figure it was a 1 year deal.

Asided from his one HUGE game, he wasn't a factor. SELL....Sell.Not a guy that you can trust, week-in and week-out.When it comes down to Harrision or Paris Lenon, I'm taking Lennon.

I hear Lenon won't be the MLB next year? Either a FA or draft pick.

Funny, I had both of these guys on 1 yr contracts this year, and I'm debating on whether to keep either (or both).

I guess it depends on your scoring, but I wouldn't say he was a total non-factor. He was LB8 overall with that game, but even if you remove him entirely he still finished in the top 40 or so in my league (a 16 team league that starts 2 + 2 flex).

I don't think you can remove the game. Maybe cut it in 1/3 because either way he's still getting stats. I think he's easily a Top 40 lber.

Right - I was saying that even if you remove the game ENTIRELY, and give him zero, he's STILL a top 40 LB.Anthony Borbeley has him at LB37 on dynasty rankings.

With **** Lebeau still being the DC in PITT how much can honestly change for James Harrison. And yes i know he's a boom or bust for sacks but my league gives us 10 points for a sack.

Granted he's my #5 LB but I also have Calvin Pace as my #6 and I'm looking to trade one for a 2008 pick.

Where do you guys see Harrison fitting long term? Seems like it's going to be boom or bust, but is he the kind of talent we should lock up long term (esp. if relatively cheap?)

If you can get him cheap, I see no reason not to. He should have a few big games a year, and be fairly solid in the rest. He won't be a top-5 (unless he has another explosion game like last year), but he will be solid top 10-15 range, IMO. Just my :lmao:
