Jared Allen - Questionable (ankle) (1 Viewer)

Now we just need LHUCKS in here saying the Chargers (Pac-10 territory) are a lock, and this thing is just about complete.

I can sort of understand a Raider fan doing this. Beat a dog enough, and he'll attack. Can't talk smack about yer own team, might as well start barking at the niehgbors.

I thought most Charger fans were guys who jumped ship from the Raider fanbase over the past decade.

Assuming VJax is shutdown they've only got Gates and, what, Malcolm in the Middle?
:goodposting: How is a top-5 all time pass-catching TE referred to as 'only'.And I don't think there is a huge difference in skill set between VJax and Floyd. Jets also have to find someone to stay on Sproles and Naanee.

The Jets would have psych wise been better off playing Indy this week IMHO...San Diego is goin to show them why they went 9-7 and at one point were 4-6 during the season. San Diego is one of the front runners for the SB, the real playoffs start this week and NY is simply not good enough on offense to hang around. Also Cedric Benson tore a hole thru their ground game last week and I actually believe LT will be a factor this week unlike many weeks during the season.

SD 27

NY 14

Oof.
When you're engaged and big into fashion, it's hard to stay current on pesky football stuff.
Oh right, Floyd's a stud. And they also have Tomlinson, who is really young and led the league in rushing.

Actually wait. He didn't even finish in the top 10 in rushing. Or even the top 20. Was he even top 30?? Wait, how many NFL teams are there again? But Otis, he missed some games and had a YPC of like a brzillion!11

You mean 3.3? :goodposting:

You're right though, at least they have that short dude.

It's been a nice ride, but it's over. Revis can't cover everyone. 38-10 Bolts.
X24-17 Jets

/thread.
BrOtis, are you a Jets or Giants fan?
Why must this be an OR?I've never understood that about pro sports in NY.
OK Let us say the Jets and Giants meet in Super Bowl 45? Who do you root for?

They have a guy named Rivers that is pretty decent.

If you don't understand I don't think I can explain it to you but it is OR.You root for the Giants OR the Jets.

You root for the Yankees OR the Mets.

You root for the Knicks OR.. well... does anybody really care about the Knicks?

Spoken like a true New Yorker. My guess is Otis is a transplant, otherwise this concept would be more intuitive.

And the biggest... Rangers / Islanders

I don't mind the Giants though.

I certainly wouldn't root for the Giants (unless they're playing the Patriots), but I don't think the Jets/Giants is in the same ballpark (literally) as Mets/Yankees. There are some geographic and socioeconomic divides when talking about the Yankees and Mets; they play on different islands. The Jets and Giants play in the same freakin Stadium. I think it's a lot more common, especially among transplants, to be indifferent about the Jets and Giants, since they rarely play each other (while the Yanks and Mets play every year). And as Reaper wrote above, Rangers/Islanders is a totally difference case than Jets/Giants, too.
