This is as good a thread as any to see what trending topic "Nate Kaeding" leads to on twitter:Nate Kaeding was caught committing suicide in the locker room but wasn't successful from kicking the chair out from underneath!Nate Kaeding arrives home, tries to kick dog. Misses.After the game Nate Kaeding tried to slam his car into a telephone poll but went wide right and missed completely.

By the way, I was very impressed with Kaeding's post-game comments. I wouldn't worry about that guy.

Kaeding had a terrible day yesterday. It happens. The timing was unfortunate. But he'll be an important part of the team for the next few years, and he'll continue to be one of the better placekickers (if not the best) in the league.His kickoffs aren't great, though.

please, Kaeding has never made a clutch kick. ever.

I'd say that long FG he hit to beat the Bengals last month was pretty clutch. Not excusing his performance yesterday, I am just saying.

SD lost as a team not by kicker alone. You sound like the Seattle fans that blamed the refs when Pitt beat them in the SB when they simply got outplayed by a better team...whatever dude.

I was with right up to this point. I agree 100% that the Chargers lost as a team.I am not a Seahawks fan, never have been, never will, but man they got screwed royally by the refs in the SB. Those brutal calls changed the face of the game, repeatedly. Congrats to your team on winning the game - it wasn't the Steelers fault the calls went in their favor, but in my mind that victory will always be tainted by simply terrible officiating.It was ter-i-ble man. ter-i-ble.End of OP hi-jack.

I didn't care who won that SB but you'd have to be blind not to see the effect those calls had on the game, and they all seemed to go one way.
