Naw. Not sure they are playoff caliber. Wait until around week 13. If they are still in the hunt, give him a call.Hattiesburg MississippiTime to get off the tractor.
The body's not even cold yet. No trades with the mother ####### donkeysdo you think they would trade for K. Orten
Al admitted he was wrong. They should do ol Al proud and bring bac JaMarcus.
In a parking lot again?Culpepper was working out in the offseason.
Terrell Pryor![]()
My 1st thought in this thread. 5 weeks of nothing to do but study the playbook. A few good weeks of watching. If they wern't in the thick of things I'd lock it, now, I would think the smart would be an open competition between him and Boller. I don't Garrard.what about Pryor?
I think Garrard can play, but I think thje year's too far gone to bring in a QB who doesn't know the system
or convince him to trade Gradkowski backNFL.com saying that the Raiders are trying to convince Brown to trade Palmer.
Somehow I believe he just did 5 weeks of nothing. Perhaps he drove around in some nice cars or something.Terrell Pryor

According to FOX Sports' Jay Glazer, free agent David Garrard needs "immediate" surgery on a herniated disc in his troublesome back.In the words of Glazer, "take one name out of (the) search for (a quarterback)." The announcement goes a long way toward explaining Garrard's recent coyness about a possible return. It also puts extra pressure on the Raiders to make a trade to upgrade Kyle Boller ahead of Tuesday's deadline, as Garrard was easily the most attractive free agent candidate. Garrard should no longer be expected to take the field this season, making it quite possible he's played his final NFL down at the age of 33.
I think this would be a solid move, except that Gradkowski can't stay healthy himself, which would put the Raiders back at sqaure 1.'footballnerd said:or convince him to trade Gradkowski back'mad sweeney said:NFL.com saying that the Raiders are trying to convince Brown to trade Palmer.
That is amazingly odd timing. David reportedly wants to play, is working out and waiting on the right situation. Then when a pretty good situation presents itself he has a back injury that requires surgery.According to FOX Sports' Jay Glazer, free agent David Garrard needs "immediate" surgery on a herniated disc in his troublesome back.In the words of Glazer, "take one name out of (the) search for (a quarterback)." lol....no.'Chadstroma said:I don't see it. I see them talking up the Bengals to try to make a trade for Palmer but no bite. Trent Edwards is likely to get the call when that fails as he knows the system and team.
On the other side, the Raiders will not be interested in committing to Garrad and supposedly that is what he wants from a team to sign up with them. The Raiders have their QB for now (Campbell) and their future QB (Pryor).
You can debate whether or not Pryor will be a worthwhile QB but that is not my point. My point is that they have invested in him to be that future QB. They are not going to walk away from that in order to sign Garrard.lol....no.'Chadstroma said:I don't see it. I see them talking up the Bengals to try to make a trade for Palmer but no bite. I had no idea the Vikings were in need of a ham sandwich. Or that the Raiders would send them one for that matter.I'm not saying this would be a good move but maybe the Vikings would trade McNabb and move on to Ponder. McNabb would be a cheap veteran at this point I would think.
Oakland actually has a chance to make the playoffs, why would they want to jeopardize their chances with McNabb?I'm not saying this would be a good move but maybe the Vikings would trade McNabb and move on to Ponder. McNabb would be a cheap veteran at this point I would think.
All you need to know about this scenario is that Al Davis didn't want McNabb when he was alive.I'm not saying this would be a good move but maybe the Vikings would trade McNabb and move on to Ponder. McNabb would be a cheap veteran at this point I would think.
When I first read this, I assumed you were referring to McNabb as the one has had passed... and oddly, it made sense given his play as of late. All you need to know about this scenario is that Al Davis didn't want McNabb when he was alive.I'm not saying this would be a good move but maybe the Vikings would trade McNabb and move on to Ponder. Pryor said he could run the offense if Jackson gives him the Readers' Digest Condensed Version of the playbook."I mean, that's a big package," Pryor said of the playbook. "I only had two days of practice; that'd be an awful lot (to expect to absorb), but if it was cut down, of course."Pryor has been in offensive meetings, but he said, "Going in the classroom and being on the field is two completely different things, you know. ... I'm just trying to get the grip down on calling the plays fully ..."
