Javascript problem (1 Viewer)

I logged into the FFA this morning to be greeted by this message:

Javascript Disabled DetectedYou currently have javascript disabled. Several functions may not work. Please re-enable javascript to access full functionality.

I think my girlfriend did something to Chrome last night when she was on the computer. So I Googled 'turn on java in chrome', got this link at the top of the list, but was then greeted by this message:

To use Google Groups Discussions, please enable JavaScript in your browser settings, and then refresh this page.

Would any of you lovely people mind telling me how to fix this? I've already confirmed both that Java is enabled in Chrome and that I'm running the latest version. Thanks.

(I seem to have fixed it by resetting all of the browser settings to default, which sucks but at least it works.)

I know in internet explorer depending on where the site lays in the security tab certain applets and functionality can be toggled
