Javon Walker (1 Viewer)

I totally agree. But how can a guy be in great shape and explosive if he is overweight. So do we discount the quote from the CC Times?:
It's possible because Rotoworld chose to cherry-pick the statement that was a negative, and ignored the qualifying statement by the coach. The coach said Walker wasn't there yet, but he was pleased with his progress and effort. All Rotoworld chose to report was that Walker wasn't there yet.I wasn't happy with the signing, thought the Raiders overpaid, and I doubt Russell puts up big enough numbers to make Walker a stud. But I am real happy he is practicing and appears to be healthy.
I agree they overpaid. And with conflicting reports right now, I must say I am in a bind. Before the start of the season I have to decide to extend JW's contract for 2009. Do I spend $1.5 million of a $32 million cap on this guy for 2009? Dunno right now because news on him is crap right now. This will be the preseason games I want to see. See if Russel can get the ball to Walker...

The signing, even though overpaying, was a good signing in that it will help develop Russell. In FF, I agree, and for the money, I agree, but with Russell being the future of the franchise, it had to be done. Good to see he's doing better than earlier reported.
