I have seen no talk about this being a make-or-break year for Fisher, but how many years does he get to turn it around? The Titans were 9-23 their last two seasons. They are 0-2 this year so far, and appear as if they will be lucky to win more than 4 games this season. If this is a rebuilding year, what were 2004 and 2005?

Like Fisher gives a flying ####. The Titans ownership and executives have been sending that franchise on a downward spiral for years...the Vince Young debacle is just icing on the cake.

Fisher will get gobbled up in a heartbeat if he's let go.

I think it's the Titans who are on the hot seat, as far as Fisher is concerned. Wouldn't surprise me in the least, to see Fisher try & leave next year.

Looks like a lot of Titans fans aren't in your camp regarding Young.

What rock were you living under this past offseason? ;) Fisher wasnt even certain to return to the team, and his job, along with all of the Titans FO and coaching staff is certainly very much in danger of all getting fired.

Fisher is the second longest tenured Head Coach in the NFL, only behind Cowher.

He'd get a job in an instant should he be fired by the Titans.

I believe J. Fisher is a great coach.

I think his decision to start Collins after just getting to Tennessee 2 weeks prior to the season was a way for him to say "F" you to the Titans for some of the bone head moves they have made of late.

The Titans are the worst franchise in football right now. And that is pretty bad considering what is going on in Oakland.

everything i have read says that Fisher is VERY well respected by the NFL community and will not have to worry one bit about future employment

The Titan's mortgaged the few years they were at the top to try and win a super bowl. It didn't work and now they're paying the price. It has nothing to do with Fisher. He didn't turn into a horrible coach all of a sudden. He can only do so much with what he has got, which isn't much right now.

IMO he's one of the best coaches in the league and has been for years. I think his track record speaks for itself. It's not always the coach's fault when a team is bad. The ownership and management have to know how to run the team also.

Fisher to Oakland?
 Now that's one job he won't take.
Oakland is not that bad. They have an ok defense.

They have skilled players.

They need to acquire some o-lineman but with a good head coach they are an ok team.
There is a reason why Shell is their Head Coach. Nobody else wanted the job and it's got nothing to do with the players. FWIW, I know Al Saunders turned down the job, preferring instead to make a lateral move. Read into that whatever you want, but it's pretty telling to me.
