Jeremi Johnson on IR--Impact on Perry? (1 Viewer)

With Jeremi Johnson going on IR, will this impact Perry, who already has a difficult run schedule?

None.. they picked up Reagan Mauia. He's an 88 on Madden and Jeremi is only an 86.

As a Perry/Watson owner in one league I thought it might be bad news, but then I saw something about being in the doghouse in preseason and this news:

Jun. 17, 2008 - 1:04 p.m. ET Jeremi Johnson, once the highest paid fullback in the league, is over 300 pounds and is "nowhere near getting on the field." He will have to start camp working with strength and conditioning coaches. It looks like Daniel Coats is more likely to start and Johnson may get cut. He used to be 260 pounds. Based on the blurb and this note, something tells me that this isn't much of an impact at all.ETA: It should be noted that Mauia started most of the games that Ronnie Brown did well in last year, so it might not be that bad at all, compared to an out of shape Johnson, who in another note I just read was mentioned as not having particpated much at all as he was just trying to get back in shape.
