This guy is out of Oregon I believe in his 2nd year. He is averaging over 5 yards per carry in the pre-season and is starting to look like he might be Arian Foster's main back up. As we all know Kubiak does some crazy things and I could see him throwing this guy into the mix with Foster, especially if Foster fumbles the ball here or there (which he has done once this year already and a couple times last year). Slaton is battling a turf toe injury also as well as his neck problem that we all know about. I really think this guy is going to make some noise this year, especially if Foster gets hurt, which as we all know could easily happen with his type of running style. I took a flier with him in my draft in the 17th round. No one knew who he was.

I wouldnt get too excited unless there are a couple injures. He has a long way to go in pass protection.

I read a thread were more than one person said that Johnson was just as effective as JSTEW when they shared a backfield in college. I know, sounds a little out there but it HAS been mentioned a few times. IIRC, Johnson had a lingering shoulder issue which initially affected his drafting and then of course was out last year.

I mean, if the guy was anywhere close enough to be talked about in the same sentence with JSTEW, I wouldn't ignore him.

Maybe some Duck fans can educate us .

Chris Henry is my super sleeper RB for this year.
I'm of the other mind. I cut Henry for JJ after seeing how little Henry did with his preseason changes while JJ looked quite good.
Agree. Henry is always that guy that looks good in camp and then disappears. I would figure Johnson to be hungrier if nothing else and it sounds like, from some, there may be talent there.
