Jerome Harrison (1 Viewer)

Anyone know his story? Is he worth hanging onto in a dynasty league? Or, is he destined to be a 3rd down back at best.

WW has slim pickings - Calhoun, M. Moore, Fargas, Shipp and not much else.

Thanks.

Dropped him a while ago, grab Calhoun, if KJones isn't totally back into last years form, Calhoun looked good while filling in last week, Tater clearly isn't the answer in Det.

IMO Lewis will be gone next year and I think this guy gets a shot. He bulked up this year so he could handle more carries without wearing down and he can catch out of the backfield. He also ran for 1,900 yards his last year in college. Cleveland doesn't have a first round pick to draft a stud. Has even more value in a PPR league.

MY

Drop him. I can't even recall him stepping onto the field this season.

The Browns are going to go after Michael Turner this offseason.

I'm a homer, so I got to see him a lot in camp this year. He definitely bulked up and improved his pass blocking. In my opinion he made a good argument to pass Wright on the depth chart. He's still raw and makes mental mistakes though. That's gonna have to improve a lot for him to see more playing time. With the progress he made from last year to this one I think it's more than possible, but it's probably more realistic to wait until next year.

In dynasty he's got value. Unless Lewis is out for any time this year Jerome probably won't see the field much until late in the season. That way the Browns can evaluate him better and decide if he's gonna be their guy next year. I too don't see Lewis in a Brownies uniform(something perverted about that.lol) next year. If I were in any dynasty leagues anymore, which I'm not, I'd pick Harrison up from the waiver wire if I had a bench spot to burn and see what happens to him next year.

Next season... Cleveland will bring in Turner or JJ or another Vet RB that doesn't get resigned or cut.... Only value this kidd has is if JL gets hurt... which could happen.

Calhoun is on IR and out for the year.

Sorry this thread was titled Jerome Harrison. Not sure why the first post was about Calhoun, didnt even read it when I bumped. But lets talk about Harrison here if possible since thats the name of the thread I guess.

You can get solid Rbs in round 4, especially in this 08 draft. If Harrison works out with the Browns it will be this year. If he doesn't I expect a new home and a new opportunity.

After seeing him run this past weekend, I'd really like to know what has held Harrison back. (maybe pass protection? I don't know here).

The guy looked really solid and quite explosive.

He can't pass block and continues to fumble in practive according to the Browns Beat writer. It's sad, because he has LEGIT running ability and pass catching skills. He would be a very good back with 20 touches.
