I wasn't aware that these two were even a item. Wasn't Otis even hot on this girl at some point. :confused:

Jerramy Stevens, the former Washington Huskies star who was once accused of armed assault and rape, appeared in Kirkland court on Tuesday in a domestic violence case involving his fiancée, U.S. soccer star Hope Solo.

The two were planning to get married Tuesday -- on Stevens' 33rd birthday.

I'm actually shocked this is the first time we've heard from him since he retired. He was number 1, 2 and 3 on my list of NFL guys who would murder someone once out of the leagues support system.

I don't wish her anything bad and hope she's ok, but man, she's a complete idiot for getting involved in the first place.

 
Before you guys go calling for his head, the article notes that there was no probable cause to hold him on a domestic violence charge.

I think that's a case of us expecting something different from a female athlete. I'm reading into this, but I'm guessing Chastain was one of the ones who took Solo's comments about Brianna Scurry really seriously. And she probably said a lot of crap about the team being sisters and families and not criticizing one another. And Solo, who is a **** in the way that many athletes are a ****, held a grudge. So when Chastain got into broadcasting and started criticizing the "sisterhood", I'm sure it really rubbed Hope the wrong way. But I like prickly athletes. I like thinking that they're all miserable bastards like me.

When Olympic star Hope Solo was partnered with pro Maks Chmerkovskiy on Dancing with the Stars in Season 13 last year, things got a little bit physical. We saw Maks shove Hope during a rehearsal segment that was broadcast on the show. But that was it. Now, the soccer star has released a memoir, Solo: A Memoir of Hope in which she says Maks did much more than that.

"He was often nasty," she writes, "swearing at me and being harshly critical. ... I didn't like being treated like that, but I could take it." She continues: "He manhandled me in rehearsals from the start, pushing me, whacking my stomach, bending my arms roughly. I thought that was just how it went – how dancers worked with each other. I was tough. I could take it. But it kept getting worse," Hope continued. "One day, Maks was trying to put me in a certain position and hit my stomach so hard with his open palm that I had a red handprint there for the rest of the day."

She writes again that she "could tough it out."

Another time, Hope writes that Maks was so angry with her at one moment during a rehearsal for the Halloween show that he slapped her. "He wanted my head in a specific position. To achieve that, he slapped me across the face. Hard."

She adds that "he was extremely apologetic," and ABC offered her a new partner after the incident, but she declined. "I didn't want to end Maks' career," she says, and feared she would come off looking like a "prima donna."

According to the report, 34-year-old Marcus Solo was the one who called police Monday. When they got to him, he had blood on his forehead and knees, and a freshly bruised eye, police said.

Officers talked to him outside the house, and Hope Solo emerged from the home with blood and a fresh laceration on her elbow. She was intoxicated and yelled several times to her brother, "Don't say anything to them, Marcus," according to the police report.

So her brother thought it was necessary to call the cops but with blood and a fresh laceration she yells at him to not talk to them once they arrived.She's f'n crazy.

Her brother got tazed, might not have even called cops for her? It sounds like he was pretty beat up himself.Hopes parents are in jail, and known bad girl nutjob. I know Stevens is crazy too, but it is entirely possible that she was the drunken assailant and that Stevens was trying o protect her ( a la Brandon Marshall).

But this :tfp: is gonna be epic.
