I see it on Sportsline but has it been confirmed anywhere else?

The injury report on the Hawks website hasn't been updated yet.

Hey hawkeyemba,Thanks for the update. Where'd you hear this? I did a quick search but I couldn't find anything, other than yesterday's report.
Seahawks TE Jerramy Stevens practiced this week and his surgically repaired left knee appears well enough to allow him to get in for about 30 plays, which is about 10 or 15 less than would be typical for him. "The week went OK," Stevens said. "We stuck to the plan we had, kind of taking it day by day. It's getting there."

When was he traded to the Rams?
Sorry, against St. Louis, but I'm sure you knew that.
:D This should be a really interesting matchup when the Seahawks have the ball. No Alexander, no Engram, no Stevens. Meanwhile, the Rams have one starting corner out, and the other starting corner is REALLY iffy with a bad groin. Branch is starting, Burleson is the #3. Gotta figure that St. Louis will try to help their young corners all they can, and try to play Morris straight up.

The only place I've seen it is the player news section of my league home page on sportsline....they don't credit anyone else with the news so there's no link to post.

Makes me wonder if they didn't accidentally look at an old inactives list. From everything I can see this weeks list hasn't been released yet.

Seahawks | Stevens OUT for Week 6

Sun, 15 Oct 2006 09:13:55 -0700

Mike Sando, of the Tacoma News Tribune, reports Seattle Seahawks TE Jerramy Stevens (knee) is out for the Week 6 game.

From Sando at the TNT

http://blogs.thenewstribune.com/seahawks/

Made it over to the Edward Jones Dome, where the inactives were waiting at my seat. TE Jerramy Stevens is among the Seahawks' inactive players today. The others are RB Shaun Alexander, DE Joe Tafoya, RT Ray Willis, LG Floyd Womack, WR Bobby Engram and DT Craig Terrill. The Seahawks did not list Stevens on their injury report all week. Coach Mike Holmgren predicted 25-30 snaps for Stevens in this game. So it's a surprise to see Stevens on the list of inactive players, although Stevens did mention Friday that the knee felt a little weaker (which I read to mean "tired" from the week of practice, not something that would keep him out of the game). We alluded to Terrill's situation in our pregame audio. DT Russell Davis played well against Chicago, and DT Marcus Tubbs is back from surgery.
