Not mine, I've been riding Fitzpatrick since Romo got hurt. With a week 16 matchup against the Cardinals on the horizon, he could win me a championship.
Player notes Wed, Dec 8QB Tony Romo still feels discomfort in his fractured left collarbone. He is out least two more games, but the Cowboys could shut him down for the season.(Yahoo! Sports)
Player notes Tue, Dec 7QB Tony Romo still has some pain and soreness from his broken left clavicle. Although he is throwing the ball, he is not ready to return to practice or play. Romo is expected to be out at least two more games, but he could be shelved for the season.(Yahoo! Sports)
OHHHH JERRUH!Not mine, I've been riding Fitzpatrick since Romo got hurt. With a week 16 matchup against the Cardinals on the horizon, he could win me a championship.![]()
"I want to do anything we can to win those games. (The decision) will be based on what gives us the best chance to win," Jones said. "And, when he's ready to go, he's going to be ready. I shouldn't be concerned about additional injury to his shoulder."
I did the exact same thing but dropped Torrain.I wont use Romo unless Rodgers gets hurt, but Dallas has some great matchups weeks 15-16 against Washington and Arizona - two of the worst defenses this year. If anything, he's a nice back up stash and a block from others using him. With all the injuries that have happened this year, some teams would without a doubt start Romo over who they have been forced to play. If he doesn't play, we should know within the next week and it likely wont hurt your team.Just dropped anthony dixon for him. I am stacked at RB and had to decide between dixon or cooley. Dixon will probably never play vs. my other options and i dont need him this week with a bye. Starting to trust gates again but still afraid to drop cooley. That matchup in week 16 is too good to let him sit on waivers.
I have no doubt Romo will play the final 2 games. Jerry wants to see how his QB and coach can play together.
Do you think if Jerry says "Start Romo" that Jason is going to start Kitna?c'mon man!I have no doubt Romo will play the final 2 games. Jerry wants to see how his QB and coach can play together.based on anything other than a delusional view of your immense knowledge of the game of football?
I think the situations are pretty different. Is this the same Jerry Jones who said a couple of weeks ago that Choice wouldn't see much time at RB until he improved his special teams play?
No. I think Jerry drinks a lot and just talks. I think he may want Romo back (for ticket sales?) but I think Romo will not be healthy enough to play, certainly not with the season not on the line (ie playoffs) that it is moronic to risk further injury with a guy who you have as many million dollars invested as Jerry does.Do you think if Jerry says "Start Romo" that Jason is going to start Kitna?c'mon man!I have no doubt Romo will play the final 2 games. Try to keep up!Third-team RB reminds Jerry of Emmitt SmithDecember, 10, 2010 Dec 104:30PM CTEmail Print Comments1 By Tim MacMahonIRVING, Texas -- Does anybody remember whether Emmitt Smith was a good special teams player? OK, that’s a ridiculous question to ask about the NFL’s all-time leading rusher. But it was silly last week for Jerry Jones to attempt to explain Tashard Choice’s lack of playing time by pointing to his special teams flaws. Maybe we ought to wait until Choice has at least 1,000 career rushing yards before even putting him in the same paragraph as a Hall of Famer. But Jerry puts them in the same sentence sometimes, such as during his Friday appearance on KRLD-FM. “What he does do well is have fabulous vision,” Jerry said. “He reminds me a little bit of some of the nuances of Emmitt in that he creates subtle change of direction as he runs. It’s just a skill.” How Jerry can go from defending the coaches’ decision to play Marion Barber over Choice in one breath and then compare Choice to Emmitt in the next is beyond me. If Barber is that good of a blocker, maybe the Cowboys can use him on the offensive line when he recovers from his strained calf. It’s impossible to argue that Barber is a better runner than Choice right now. “Tashard has just a unique running ability,” Jerry said. “It really shows when it’s on the line in these ballgames. Last weekend was the first time we’ve seen him get the ball and really make plays and spark the team. I think it’s pretty transparent here, including you and obviously our fans, that Tashard gives us a pretty good option. “We had the opportunity to trade him three or four times throughout the year. I wouldn’t do it because I wanted him for insurance.” The Cowboys made the right decision to keep Choice, but insurance is the wrong reason. Choice should play a significant role for the foreseeable future, and it won’t be on special teams. Is this the same Jerry Jones who said a couple of weeks ago that Choice wouldn't see much time at RB until he improved his special teams play?
