Jerry Jones Facing Sexual Assault Suit

10/04/2010 12:13 PM ET By FanHouse Staff

Jerry Jones is facing a very bizarre lawsuit that includes allegations of sexual assault; theft; false imprisonment, violation of privacy; obstruction of justice and stalking. The lawsuit was filed by Patricia Gavin, a former captain in the U.S. Air Force.

The lawsuit alleges that the incident took place on the same night that Jones was caught, possibly intoxicated, in a now-infamous video. Gavin is contending that at about 2 a.m. of the night in question, Jones obstructed her exit, shoved her against the wall of a bathroom and told her, "You aren't going anywhere. I planned this when you walked in" before sexually assaulting her.

The lawsuit then contends that Jones told Gavin he had arranged for he and his driver to take her home, instead taking her to a parking garage, where Jones offered Gavin money and began advancing on her.

In addition, Gavin claims that her purse, which contained $2 million (British sterling) among her passport and other identification, was stolen on the night in question and that to get Gavin to drop the litigation, Jones' advisers gave her enough GHB to put her "in a coma."

It should be noted that on Sept. 20, Gavin was issued a restraining order prohibiting her from contacting Jones, his family, or anyone with the Cowboys.

A sterling is worth what? $2 american? So this chick wants us to believe she had 4 mil just hanging out in her purse? Sounds off.... in many ways.

When you’re rich and famous, you become a public target. Sometimes it’s for good reasons, other times it’s for bad ones. This is one of the bad ones. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is being sued by a woman, Patricia Gavin, who is alleging sexual assault in a lawsuit full of wackiness. As Out of Bounds points out, Gavin is acting as her own attorney. If you gritted through a few pages of her suit, as I did, you’ll quickly realize that she should have dropped a couple hundred to get someone to proofread and make sense of the darn thing. I’ve honestly read more coherent papers from third graders.

If you can actually bare through the suit, you can make out that Gavin is saying Jerruh sexually assaulted her by the women’s bathroom at a restaurant the night Jerruh was caught on camera dissing Bill Parcells. She also alleges that Jerruh stole her purse, took her home in his limo, pulled out a couple of hundred thinking she was a prostitute, and then a bunch of other jibberish that doesn’t make much sense. Honestly, the suit jumps around more than a Quentin Tarantino film.

DMagazine got the gist of the whole thing and sums up all the allegations “She also claims that she’s an art dealer; that on the night in question, someone stole her purse, which contained a check for $2 million (British sterling); and that, in an effort to cover this whole thing up, Jones’ financial advisors dosed her with GHB. Oh, also? Somebody got an STD from an assault in the bathroom at Al Biernat’s.” Fittingly, this woman was hit with a restraining order that keeps her from having contact with Jerry Jones. She seems that crazy.

My cowboy hate allows me to believe that her story is credible. Actually its more Jones hate, but close enough.

I believed it right up to the part where she put $3.2 million dollars into her purse and then walked into a bar and started drinking.

Hmmm, a female captain of the US air force couldn't lay the smack down on Jerry Jones when he advanced on her?

My purse also contained a check for $2 million British Sterling drawn on the Bank of Scotland that had yet to be capitalized by UKI Foundation of Miami through a MI6 Agent John Miller who was working with Jack Mayer of UKI Foundation out of Miami.I was introduced to Mr. Miller through Mr. William Hyatt Gordon of Gordon Atlantic based in New York City who was a graduate of Tulane and who was working with me on the art that I had catalogued from New Orleans and local Texas Artists to raise funds through the sale of reproductions of original works.
Umm... what?

No lie.

I was the bar manager in Austin in 90s where the Cowboys frequented during training camp. Jerry Jones came in a lot also. He got extremely hammered on multiple occasions. One night he was at the end of the bar and he didn't want to fight the crowd to go to the bathroom on the opposite side of the place. One of the owners let him walk behind the bar to dodge crowd and when he walked by a ultrahot female bartender, 5'11, long blond hair, gorgeous, he reached between her legs and cupped her in the crotch area. I saw it with my own eyes.

I have always been surprised something like this hasn't made news til now.

Least Jerry doesn't appear to be trying to outkick his coverage...
Billionaire not possible.Seriously, if there was an assualt that happened, she has not set herself up as exactly credible which matters greatly in things that are she said: he said.

And since you're in "Big D" and are a Cowboys fan, you have no choice but to defend Jerruh, right?

Holy Christ that second link scared the piss out of me!
 it's prob not the right woman, but that pic of Jerry cracked me up. Prob the expression he had when he made his proposition
That look on his face, coupled with "You aren't going anywhere. I planned this when you walked in" and his bodyguards surrounding him would probably make me lose control of my bowels.

Yea I believe pretty much any claim of celebrity criminal misconduct made by anonymous members of message boards. Don't you?

I know what I saw. I also saw him two nights in a row get carried out by his buddies propping him up, one on each side. I held one of his super bowl rings in my hand. I really don't care if you believe and understand if people don't. Either way it really doesn't matter. I saw it with my own eyes, so I really don't care.I am just surprised something like this hasn't happened before now. This was at least 15 years ago, you know, back when the Cowboys were decent at football.

Oh, so now you're trying to change the subject away from the post you responded to and the original news story?

This is a great read!

18. Then Jerry Jones opened his wallet and started taking out $100 bills from his billfold and handed $200 to me. I thought initially he is paying me for my handbag since he did not produce it upon arrival at the house, but then he reached over and began to unfasten my britches and put his hands inside me.

19. I had a ski injury in 2003 that left me with paralysis in my arms and I went through 6 months of therapy to get the range of motion back in my arms which was the basis for assault charges in Teton County, Wyoming, to be expunged following my divorce when my ex husband incited my elder children to rebel on a family vacation at my brothers in an attempt to gain custody. This interfered with my income from 2003 to 2006 where I was a licensed securities officer with Merrill Lynch until the expungement of the false charges with production of my medical records from Dr. Weidler of Thayne, Wyoming, who had documented my condition and treated me as a former VA physician.

20. I asked Mr. Jones to get out of the car and help me take off my boots which he proceeded to do. When he got out of the vehicle and I had my legs at his chest I told him “This is not happening and you better let me go NOW.” Immediately he called his driver “Al” who was roaming the grounds to take me back to my residence, but neither returned my bag or phone.

21. On the way to 3528 Routh Street Mr. Jones driver asked me if I was from Dallas. I told him “NO”. I explained I grew up in Washington, D.C. and my father was an attorney for the US Park Service and I came to Dallas 10 years ago with my husband when we left the Air Force as we were both commissioned officers and my ex-husband was an Air Force special operations pilot. I also told him to tell Mr. Jones I was raised by Vince Lombardi’s coaches who were my neighbors in Fairfax, Virginia, as Lou Carpenter coached my softball team with my Dad and his girls my age and also coached for the Redskins after Green Bay Packers – at least that is what I knew growing up next door.
The whole thing is :goodposting: , But storyline here is classic...

Jerry is an egomaniac who drinks a lot. I would not be surprised if he made unwanted advances to women on numerous occasions. But this allegation sounds totally ridiculous.

Good for her. I'd be pissed too if Jerry Jones came and stole my purse with millions of £ in it, esp after obtaining a restraining order against me. What nerve...

Yeah... everything about this story just seems so believable. It doesn't look like she just wants money or anything.
It doesn't matter. A precedent has already been set that being accused of a crime is enough to warrant disciplinary action by the league.
We have to relive this tired argument every time a ball player has some issue of misconduct.... sad and tiring...Ben deserved punishment of some sort, he was acting inappropriately at the very least.... Putting himself in the position to be questioned for inappropriate behavior if not other lude acts or rape... was certainly acting inb disregard for his obligations to the league and it's public image..Maybe Jerry Jones deserves the same... But this situation sounds more like some crazy woman trying to stick him for some money after finding Jerry was no longer interested in her company. There were certain points about Ben's situation that were indisputable, and if I'm not mistaken, he admitted to. There were also witnesses to some of his behavior, who were interviewed. But quit crying in your beer already

23. I went to replace my identification and phone the next day April 9, 2010 with James K. Moore, but stopped back at Ocean Prime at 4 p.m. to find my purse in their safe and my phone separated from my bag but also in the safe. I told James Moore that Jerry Jones had my handbag and he asked, “Why would Jerry Jones take your bag.” I told him I didn’t know.24. When I later asked Tomas Aleman August 9, 2010 where my bag went he got extremely red-faced so I assumed he gave it to the driver Al since James Moore did not know where or why Jones would take my purse and Aleman was friends with Al, Jerry Jones driver since he works at the Crescent Hotel in the Beau Bar there and has contact with him on occasion which Tomas Aleman admitted to me.25. I wrote Ocean Prime a thank you on their Facebook page for returning my bag.
:blackdot: :lmao: :lmao:Whoa dude, when you get down to item #45 +, she starts to sound schizophrenic
