With the deadline and the rumors, I had an open roster spot and I picked him up, just in case,but now should I drop him again?

How close is he to being dealt for those in the bay area?

i don't think he gets dealt this season. no team wants this clown.

If you picked him up in the hopes he would be traded why would you drop him a few hours before the deadline? Would it kill you to wait a few hours?

A lot depends on what your other options are on the waiver wire... is the league a redraft or dynasty/keeper... what does your roster look like.

IMHO I don't think that Porter is going anywhere this year and will spend the rest of the year in pergatory as an Oakland Raider. He and the Raiders will go their separate ways at the end of the season and then some team will likely sign him to an incentive laden contract. But for now I don't see a team giving up draft picks for a guy whose attitude is questionable - even if that attitude is connected with a team certifiably kookoo.

So if you have an unused roster spot with no other attractive options and can hold Porter until next year by all means take a chance. Otherwise use the roster spot on someone that will help you this year...
