I see the Jets signed Logan Payne to their practice squad. I don't know if they did to pick his brain or not, but how much does this help an NFL team? I have no idea if it does or not - since they put in a game plan later in the week, but is there any benefit?

All I know is that Payne was awful when he played for the Seahawks. Total stiff with bricks for hands.

I thought he looked decent in preseason.
