Jimmy Graham to Browns - Hypothetical (1 Viewer)

They have a TE already. He pouts up good numbers and will be cheaper. They have other needs.

Browns fan or not - what would your thoughts be on this?

Browns now armed with 2 1st round picks next season, and have a large chunk of cap space available.

Discuss.

I think this at LEAST has to be a discussion w the Browns FO. I can see both sides of the coin on this one

I guess this got started because BUF gave up two 1's for Watkins.

As a Saints fan I'd say no thanks, the Saints' no. 1 picks have not been as good typically as 3's like Graham and later picks like Evans and Colston anyway.

If a Browns fan I'd be skeptical that Graham would do in CLE what he's done in NO.

I think I see your line of thought: Possible suspension of Gordon; Graham offers an immediate upgrade as an outside WR.

I wouldn't say the Browns have more immediate needs -- assuming someone emerges as slid QB option -- but that sure seems like a steep price for someone that is not a true WR. (What is his forty time?)

I am of the camp that as the passing game and spread offense continue to take over college football we are going to each future draft offer a lot more bluechip WR prospects. So if Gordon get suspended I think they just have to take their lumps and keep teh two 1s.
