Jimmy Graham, TE, NO

News: A year after positing the season-highest yardage total in NFL history at his position (1,327), Saints tight end Jimmy Graham has experienced a considerable decline this season with just 710 yards on 64 receptions. Now, there may be a reason behind that drop. Graham revealed Friday that he has been dealing with a bad wrist since the preseason, but has not appeared on the injury report with the issue. He did not specify which wrist has been hampering him and has used the same tape job on both wrists to conceal the injury. "Catches and blocking has been painful this year but that's everybody," Graham told the New Orleans Times-Picayune. "Everybody on this team has had some issues and is having issues. I can't use that as a crutch. I'm out there on Sundays and I've got to produce."

Analysis: Graham said he wasn't sure if the wrist issue is directly responsible for his inconsistent season as he is tied with Wes Welker for the most drops in the NFL (10), according to ESPN. But he still tied for the team lead with eight touchdowns, his third straight season with at least five scores. "I think (Graham's injury) has been ongoing all season," Saints interim coach Joe Vitt said. "This time of the season and you're into Week (15) and you're going to have little nicks. ... But I think Jimmy has done a real good job of working through his nicks." Graham is averaging just 44.3 receiving yards and 5.3 Fantasy points over his last four games, but still remains a solid Fantasy option for Week 15 against Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers have allowed an average of 7.8 Fantasy points and six touchdowns to opposing tight ends this year.

Heard this on SiriusXM fantasy tonight in the car. You know what? I'm still rolling him out there. Either waivers are closed in your league or your other options are still not superior to a reduced Graham. I'm rolling him out there and hoping he can get me a few receptions, 40+ yards, and maybe a red zone TD.

Same for me, Gresham just put up 12 on me, So where I once thought I had an advantage now I just want 10-12 myself.

Bummer.

First Round pick too.

Third round pick for me, so it kinda stings less. But he is still third in scoring among te in my league. That being said, I am rolling with him this week. Although he is been on my bench the past 2-3 weeks.

I doubt I draft a TE that early next draft.

So, I mean for what it's worth, Rotowire "speculating" that with the Saints just about out of the playoff run, Graham could potentially get shut down in Weeks 16 and 17.

With that nightmare scenario said, who are we looking at if the WW is open in your league for Week 16?

I got, just using my WW (12 team standard, 5 bench spots so short benches) as an example where I have Graham:

David Thomas (If you want to see if Graham is going to play) @ Dallas

Dennis Pitta vs. NYG

Brandon Myers @ Carolina

Kyle Rudolph @ Texans

Marellus Bennett @ Ravens

Since it's potentially a one week thing, I'm almost leaning match ups. Thomas intrigues me, he looked OK today and has Brees throwing to him and no Graham if it works out that way. I'd go Pitta next since he's looking good even if it's garbage time production. I'm indifferent on the last three.

Who ya got/what do you think if this thing materializes next week and you need to make a move?
