Saw him pitch to Markakis after getting hit...had to go downstairs and by the time I got down there Aceves was in. I thought he was alright?

Hit in what looked like the thigh or hip by an Adam Jones comebacker. They pulled him after he limped over to back up a play at third on the Huff hit. Probably OK I'd think.

The minute he got hit his fastball flattened right out. Markakis smoked a pitch that had no business being thrown down the shoot. Very next second Girardi and Gene came out to replace him.

Same thing with Wang, if you can use your legs to help with velocity, movement, you got no chance... and also open yourself up to taxing your arm double time. Precautionary, yes. May miss a start at the most from the way he was pleading to stay in.
