Don't be afraid to trade back.
Ideally, and it's the same thing in a redraft, you prefer to draft in the middle. Position run when you are on the end can be a killer, especially in dynasty.
I do advise you to go young. If you go young, and maybe have a chance to make a run mid-season, you will know who the sellers are. And those vets will be cheaper as other owners scramble for second round picks for proven vet players that can get you over the hump. And if you acquire picks from trading back, we'll, there ya go.
It's really a game of high/low. Most owners are going high, you go low. And if your team stinks, you are still young and have good picks coming your way with a rock solid foundation going forward.....
