Jones or Driver ? (1 Viewer)

I haven't heard any more on Jennings status. But, it seems possible he will miss some time.

If so, who is the better pick up this week. James Jones, or Donald Driver?

not enough to matter.

Rodgers will spread the ball around more. Cobb will get more time, but all the other WR/TE/RB will get more targets. No one player will see a huge increase on average. For any one game, as is the usual, they will see a bump because Rodgers plays the coverage. If Jones has the open looks, Jones gets the ball, as an example

If Starks gets his ankle back in shape, I still would not be surprised if you see him on in the slot a few times

Will be interesting to see if Jordy becomes the deep threat or takes over Jennings routes...or Jones does.

Both can play the deep game...and both have shown the ability to work underneath coverage. I would tend to think Jones or Finley will get those seam routes that Jennings runs a lot from the slot when they go 3 wide.

In the end, I think the biggest benefit might be Cobb. More playing time...Rodgers seems pretty comfortable with him...just have a feeling about him.

You should make this a poll as obviously a bunch of guys in here don't understand the question.

I'd think Driver has a slight edge over Jones but both will see only a moderate uptick in stats making it essentially a tossup.

Total: Jones, James GBP WR 101 26 479 5 37 Driver, Donald GBP WR 86 31 357 4 43
Looks like Jones has the edge in yards and touchdowns whereas Driver has the edge in targets and receptions. Throw a dart at the board and hope for the best. Neither is a great option. I have James Jones currently and I'm probably benching him for the likes of Damian Williams and Brandon Lloyd.

It does seem they are actively trying to get Cobb more involved. He's going to overtake Jones and Driver within a year. Nelson just continues to get better though so he's kind of got a moving target on him.

OK...so you are in the EXACT position as I am. I have both Lloyd and WIlliams (and AJ Green). So...with Lloyd facing a new QB and tough matchup in week 15, you would go with Williams over Jones, Driver, or Cobb? I think all these guys are available on the WW. Worried about Williams and Locker, too. But, need to make the play on the WW that has the most value over next two games.

To me it's just a guess. I put Lloyd slightly above Damian Williams (with Locker especially), Driver, and Jones. The reason for this is that he's steadier and generally gets 10-12 targets a game. So I'll have the choice of Damian, Driver, Jones, Decker, or Denarius Moore. I'm leaning toward Driver if I get him. If I don't I think Damian and James Jones are a tossup. Actually all three (Driver, Jones, Williams) are a tossup. Just pick one and hope for the best. One of them will score 15+ in PPR.

Would rather have Jones, but he was scooped up a couple weeks ago so I'm putting in a claim for Driver. It's somewhat of a toss up anyway.
