I have Josh Gordon as my WR2/3 and I'm nervous about him surviving the Belichick regime and their tough rules. I was offered Baldwin and Sony Michel for him and I'm leaning towards pulling the trigger.
14-team, standard scoring: 1 QB / 2 RB / 2 WR / 1 TE / 1 K / 1 Flex (RB/WR/TE)
Current roster:
QB - Tyrod Taylor / Dak Prescott
RB - Gurley / Ingram / Burkhead / Marlon Mack / John Kelly
WR - AJ Green / Josh Gordon / Golladay / Robbie Anderson / Paul Richardson / Pettis / Tre'Quan Smith
TE - Kelce
K - (does it matter?)
I thought Burkhead/Mack would be fine until Ingram got back and serve as bye week fill-ins as well, but the issue is that they've both been nicked up. Baldwin's knees concern me, but he's awfully tough and I'm not sure his risk is any higher than Gordon's. Michel would give me a pretty good lock on the Pat's backfield outside of the James White role and they've rushed for a LOT of TDs in the last few years. I think it shores up my RB position and just costs me a swap of two solid WRs with their own risks. Any thoughts on this deal or insight about the Baldwin situation would be greatly appreciated.
