There was an article in the USA Today about Hamilton and the Rangers the other day. The Rangers did hire Jerry's brother. He was the one who took care of Josh last year.

Living in Raleigh, I would look for him as I drove by construction sites in 2004 and 2005 (never spotted him) and am so glad he is doing well now. Funny side story: My next door neighbor, who has about 3 tire/rims stores in town sold new rims to both Brien Taylor and Josh Hamilton after they got their signing bonuses...I call him the kiss of death whenever I see him. His kid is an incredible baseball player (freshman this year) and in the end, could be a very late round pick. I tell him all the time to make sure he does not give the kid a new set of rims.
