He'll being moving up FF Draft Boards
It tells alot when Seattle didn't draft a RB when they had a chance however I think Seattle expected a RB to fall to them but the mini run a few picks before them ruined that idea. The Mo Mo owner in my league told me to drop JJ and his $31 salary. I told him that he should drop a $42 Deangelo Williams, and he said that DW has so much more value. I laughed, but he's serious. The point of all that, well i was a bit nervous that Seattle might tget a RB that fell to them, but they didmn't so I am pumped.
I agree, but if they felt there was a need they could have made a trade up a couple of spots in the second and got one. I think it says a lot for Julius and the 5.5 Million he gets this year, he should be the clear cut starter, IMO.It tells alot when Seattle didn't draft a RB when they had a chance however I think Seattle expected a RB to fall to them but the mini run a few picks before them ruined that idea. The Mo Mo owner in my league told me to drop JJ and his $31 salary. Proved? How did he do that? I don't think Morris is the full time answer, but I don't understand your comment. I thought Morris played well behind abysmal blocking up front. Much better than Alexander. Did you get to see Seattle play a lot last season?Momo Proved last year he could not handle it and I don't think Duckett is going to beat out JJ.
Let me clarify.Momo last year proved that he was not the answer to replace SA as Seattle's feature RB.Proved? How did he do that? I don't know. I don't think he did anything wrong last season. Do you?I think that management's actions speak volumes about their faith in Morris, but if anything I think Morris earned carries this coming season. I understand that most people are going to discount any contribution that he'll have in the Seattle offense this coming season, but I don't mind being in the minority there. Who knows? He might not be on the roster when training camp starts. If that happens I'm confident he'll find a job somewhere in the NFL.Let me clarify.Momo last year proved that he was not the answer to replace SA as Seattle's feature RB.Proved? How did he do that? All I know is that Seattle's running game will be better than it was last year. That's enough for me right now.
Are you suggesting that Seattle would have been better off keeping Alexander?Julius Jones hasn't exactly lit the world on fire the last couple of years and he's had plenty of opportunity.
Shaun Alexander was lighting his grill on fire a lot over the past two years.Julius Jones hasn't exactly lit the world on fire the last couple of years and he's had plenty of opportunity.
Not at all but Jones is hardly a major upgrade. Is the running game going to be better than last year? Possibly but Jones was in an better offense last year-started most games- and still wasn't that good. Are you suggesting that Seattle would have been better off keeping Alexander?Julius Jones hasn't exactly lit the world on fire the last couple of years and he's had plenty of opportunity.
How would you compare Jones and Morris? Which would you prefer? Not at all but Jones is hardly a major upgrade. Is the running game going to be better than last year? Dallas averaged 17 yards a game more than Seattle, 9 more a game on the ground. I wouldn't say Jones is a great upgrade but he is an upgrade based on how he was used in Dallas between the 20s which will not be the case in Seattle where he will have more opportunities inside the 20. Seriously, I'm an upgrade over Shaun Alexander so Jones will have no pressure and he's a few years younger. Not at all but Jones is hardly a major upgrade. Jones is the 'sexy' pick with much more upside than MoMo.I don't think we're disagreeing because Jones has had some success early in his career and maybe a change of scenery will be as good for him as it was for his brother. How would you compare Jones and Morris? There's a really good joke here somewhere. I can just feel it. Damn.Seriously, I'm an upgrade over Shaun Alexander so Jones will have no pressure and he's a few years younger.
He failed miserably wth a better OL. Go get the bum. Duckett will handle the gaol line chores in Seattle. Jones is worthless. He will get his 45-80 yards here and there but if you think he is going to set the world on fire on a lessor team, you are sadly mistaken.Julius Jones hasn't exactly lit the world on fire the last couple of years and he's had plenty of opportunity.
Yeah he has had all the chances in the world in Dallas. A good offensive line, a lot of talent round him in the skill positions. All this guy did was stink it up. His problem is that he hardly ever breaks a tackle and does not stay with the play long enough and does not let it develop. A change of scene may help Jones as he will not have a beast like MB3 behind him. He has the talent maybe Seattle can bring it out.Julius Jones hasn't exactly lit the world on fire the last couple of years and he's had plenty of opportunity.
