So deferred it to today. Sitting in a giant room with a bunch of other mopes. Supposed to travel on Friday morning for a work event I really want to attend.

Pretty much guarantees I get selected and placed on something horrible. Preparing for the worst.

I got my number drawn for the first jury. Was one of the 30 or so potential for the alternates. They allowed about 10 or so go for "hardships". They let another couple go including me during the QA period. Didn't need to go back the next day because they had enough. I'm 42 and had never had to go so I was due. Wouldn't mind doing it again if I had nothing going on at work. The sitting around and lack of info was a bit annoying but all in all was interesting and part of our civic duty and all that.
