My HRs and RBIs should get a boost. Obviously SBs and OBP may take a dive. Gagne was kind of a throw in though I could use him along with Nathan when my starting pitching matchups aren't very good.

Aardsma and Torres. No loss there. Also, if it helps, this is a 2-man keeper league. So, I'll be able to keep Markakis as my 14th round pick next year.

So basically your offense loses Crawford and Wells and gains Delgado and Markakis?

You should have kept Crawford.

I somewhat expected to get replies like these. But I've been frustrated with Crawford. He's certainly not playing up to his draft position. Admittedly I have a man crush on Markakis and may overvalue him, but I think both he and Delgado could have big second halfs.

Considering you now have to bench Vernon Wells (a notorious slow starter) you basically traded Crawford & Wells for Markakis & Delgado.

 Ankle-grabber of a trade.

God forbid I have to bench Wells and his .260 avg and 5 HRs. Slow starter? At what point can we just conclude that he's not going to be very good this year. Obviously, I already got to that point.

It's not like Markakis is tearing it up at .265 and 8 so where's the improvement to warrant losing Crawford?

I'm a big Markakis fan and think he'll have a great 2nd half again (actually it's already starting) but I would've stuck with Crawford. Win some, lose some. If Crawford sprains an ankle you'll look like a genius.

You might get 20 more SBs TOPS for the rest of the year from your current team. :goodposting:
I see about 3-5 sb tops. Where are the other 15-17 going to come from????
He accidently added the 15 times Bill Hall reaches base for the rest of the year.
Just added Reggie Willits

:lmao: Thats basically what he did with this trade

Um, your numbers are a little off.

Over the last month:

Markakis: 30/107 13(Rns) 1(HR) 11(RBI) 4(SB).280(AV)

Crawford: 31/113 19(Rns) 1(HR) 19(RBI) 8(SB).274(AV)

I know this is a little longer than the time frame you mentioned......but both have only hit 1 HR the past month.

your numbers are not right.

The trade didn't kick in until the following scoring period so I think the numbers I plugged in are perfectly accurate. And as for whether my season ended, it probably ended around May 1. Great to see Quick Nick swiped another last night. Anyhow, the point of my posting was to suggest that all of the self righteous, know it all criticism I got hasn't exactly been warranted to date. The three saves from Gagne last week helped propel me to a win. Admittedly, the risk I took on Delgado has turned out horrificly.

Your numbers are not accurate.......Markakis has not hit a HR in the past 21 daysIn fact, his last HR was on 6/8 vs COL..........and before that on 5/30 vs KC.

Just saying

And neither has Crawford. As a first rounder, he's looking like a bust to me.
