Cecil Lammey, NFL Insider for FRSN and senior writer for Footballguys.com, reports the Denver Broncos could sign RB Justin Fargas (Raiders) if he passes a physical. According to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter Fargas is flying to Denver tonight and a deal could be coming soon for the veteran back.

more concerns for CBuck and Moreno here. Unlike White, Fargas could help the Broncos right away if they need him at the start of the season.

Wow, Lendale and Fargas.... the RB situation in Denver is officially U-G-L-Y !!
If Fargas has any gas left in the tank, I see this as a very legitimate backfield. Nothing stellar, but if you can get Moreno, Buck, LenDale, and Fargas all healthy, you have every bit as good of a backfield as say, oh I don't know, maybe a Maroney, Sammy Morris, Kevin Faulk backfield??? Am I crazy? Not talking fantasy wise, but NFL wise, I think these 4 could work out decently.

I'm guessing Buckhalter is going to be out for a while then.
It sure seems that could be a possibility. Also maybe that they're quickly admitting their mistake in bringing PleasantlyPlumpDale on board...

Went to see the specialist yesterday and apparently someone thought he might participate in practice as soon as today. Guess the diagnosis wasn't very serious.
The Broncos have been cautious with Buckhalter while holding out hope he would return from his back injury today. But the oft-injured veteran will need a few more days.
http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_15725189?source=rssI'm guessing the Fargas signing is more about the #3 spot than either the #1/#2 spots plus getting him into camp and up to speed covers the bases if Moreno/Buckhalter do aggravate their current conditions.
