Justin Miller primary KR? (1 Viewer)

Has there been any news regarding the primary KR role for the Jets? I see that Miller may start at nickle again this season behind Barrett, and Leon Washington was getting some pretty good returns in the preseason. My league rewards lots of pts for return yards, so Miller is still a solid start this week as the nickle CB if he's the primary KR, but not worth starting if he's only the nickle.

My other options are Madieu Williams and Kerry Rhodes. I need to start 2 of these 3.

I've got him starting right now, too. I think he's still the return man, but I wouldn't mind seeing someone confirm that.

Well, I didn't respond to this because frankly, I don't know, although I have a strong hunch Miller will be the guy at least in week 1 over Leon Washington. So, as far as KO returning, I think it's Miller by 75 to 25% over Washington. Having said that, Washington has looked very good, and did score on a PO return in preseason, so if Miller has any problems, the hok could be quick. On the other hand, he hasn't done anything to lose the job either. They came very close to a 50-50 split in the preseason.

Even if Barrett starts over Miller at CB, Miller will be more than just the nickel back, he'll see some snaps at CB too. Aside from the two safety spots, and Vilma, Thomas and Barton, I think Mangini will use a lot of rotation, and which players he uses will change each week, based on the matchups.

When The Jets play a team with a real burner at the WR spot, Miller could start over Barrett, being as fast as he is. Barrett is more likely to get more snaps when the Jets go up against veteran WR's who aren't burners... like a Keyshawn Johnson. Against a Steve Smith, Miller will get more snaps.

We have no track record for Mangini yet, and he keeps all the beans in the pot.... never spills a single one. Makes it pretty hard to read who will be the starters at this point in a lot of different positions, including RB.
