***Kansas City Chiefs at New York Giants (1 Viewer)

Is Sinorice playing tonight?
Last I heard, he had left TC in Albany and went to NYC to have a quad injury checked out. I would doubt after that, that he would be playing, but i havent heard anything since Monday on this.

I think the most important matchup in this game is Osi vs. Turley.

Be a nice test to see if Turley will hold up at LT this year.

Owners of Gonzo, Green, and LJ should be riveted.

BTW, it's the national game on FOX. 8 p.m.

All I wanna see is less Casey Printers this week. As a KC fan that was unbelieveably brutal to watch.

Turley held the rook Williams in check last week...looked good doing it. The bigger guy to watch is Sampspn/Svitek @ RT for me.

Giants D looks amazing this year.

Not so much that the Chiefs looked bad on the opening series as the Giants D was just molesting them.

The pass to Johnson on 3rd down, a lineman had an arm on Green's arm and Johnson caught the ball that was up for grabs, wasn't intended receiver.

both of Manning's passes were a little off-target.

The shoe to Barber was a bit low and the pass to toomer was ugly and above. Pass to Burress was dead on target.

Looks like Eli is improving, but accuracy might still be an issue again.

Great audible by Eli, but another off-target throw to Carter. Next play, Laser to Toomer, right on target.

Giants OL giving him great coverage, good improvement on last year.

Green airing it out for Samie Parker in double coverage.

Yet another reason why Green needs receivers that are more than 6 feet tall. I feel bad for the guy. He'd be the best QB in the NFL if his receivers were 3" taller.

Chiefs OL beginning to look slightly suspect. Turley looks like a TE, not a LT.

Another solid throw miffed by Parker. Looks like a bum.

Poor special teams play by the Chiefs, 5 guys and an easy chance to down the ball inside the 1, and they watched it roll into the endzone.

Chiefs looking rusty more than bad.

Giants D looks for real so far. Seems to me the Chiefs O didn't expect this much of a fight and are a little surprised and overwhelmed.

Kawika Mitchell looks like a stud. All over the place, two awesome tackles on Tiki.

Eli this drive has been dead on (short passes though), and looks like his brother.

Jacobs too slow to hit the hole.

The Chiefs D still sucks. :coffee:
I'm not so sure. They seem to be holding the big play in check. Sure Eli is driving them slowly and methodically down the field, but it's not a "can't hold water in the bucket" deal anymore.Burress limping...

So Far this is what ive seen

NYG

O_Line is playing very well - Manning is moving well in the pocket too.

Manning Looks more comfortable. Making better desicions and moving his feet better.

Tiki looks the same as last year - consistent - not getting too many touches though.

Burress looks slimmer and focused- made some very fluid catches - obvious best receiver on this squad.

Amani, even though he scored, is looking a little older to me.

Shockey is looking good. maybe a little over aggresive. Hands look good tonight.

Carter Looks very good - as usual - now only if he could stay heallthy -

Jacobs is started strong as he came in for a series to spell Tiki -

Hmm - having said all this - the KC D isn't looking any better...... :bag:

Looks like they stopped Eli there.

Chiefs D really looks better than last year.

That said, Giants D/ST looks posessed.

Man, in HD you can really see how bad the Blonde Bomber looks. Dear God - my wife asked if he was dead.

Don't know if it is a new rule they are "emphasizing" this year but the refs just called 2 holding calls simply because Giants' player had their hands outside the pads. Yeah, it might technically be holding but I have never seen it called that strict before.

Really looking hard at this game to see if Tiki is going to be my pick at the 4 spot this year. He looks good, the line looks good, but I have a sinking feeling Jacobs will steal more than last year.

Did Quentin Griffin just do a front flip when he tackled that guy out of bounds?

I'm actually at this game right now and the only thing that looks good on KC is their punter.

Eli and Tiki look real nice and plax is looking good as well.

The biggest difference I saw in the Offense for the Giants is Elis maturity. He is moving his feet better than I've ever seen him. The O-Line is working well against the Chiefs too.

Giants Specail Teams are looking good too.

If this was a real game the Giants would be killing the Chiefs.......And I am concerned about the Chiefs Offensive Tackle situation. This could be the "Birk" injury that is going to sink the KC running game.

I hate to say this, but I am spitting out the LJ juice. Im downgrading all Chief players after seeing this - maybe not a ton but there is more risk here than advertised -

Brandon Jacobs is getting the ball some - he runs like a quicker E. George or a bigger C. Brown. Unfortunately that means he does not get his pads down either. Im not sure he would last if he had to carry the ball for an extended time.

Tim Carter is being working in alot. He is getting many looks.

i  Tim Carter

he'll probably finally stay healthy this year since i resisted the urge to draft him on any survivor team.
