Kareem Huggins (2 Viewers)

There's a Youtube from DeFranco's Gym regarding Huggins' recovery that is impressive. I'm not sure how to post it. Maybe someone younger could.

Don't see him as a FB, but he looks 100% recovered and bulked up. If nothing else, the RB position in NE just got murkier IMHO.

You might have blinked and missed fullback Kareem Huggins‘ brief tenure with the Patriots this weekend. They signed him Saturday and cut him Sunday, and the transactions were announced 18 hours and 31 minutes apart.

So, what went wrong?

Huggins, who blew out his knee in 2010 and didn’t play last season, was in town last week, worked out and met with the Patriots’ medical staff, according to a source. Everything was fine, so they signed him.

Huggins then passed his conditioning test, the source said, but the Patriots’ training staff wasn’t comfortable enough with his knee. Therefore, the Patriots decided to cut him before he ever stepped on the practice field.

Now, there’s a little more context to a very unique situation.

Nice story. I hope he can stick.

“I hope they will see that I’m relentless and hard working and will never quit on them. I didn’t quit before, and I won’t quit now.”
