FF_GuruTwo Words.....Kolby Smith.Kid only had a 150-yard game as a rookie.Charles was simply BPA and was not a need.
The Raiders were 31st against the run last year, I wouldn't be too impressed that he torched the Raiders run defense. At the time they played each other, the Raiders were averaging 153.6 yards given up on the ground. So for ANY RB to go in there and throw up 150, it wouldn't be too shocking.

Just drafted Barry Richardson in the 6th round

Barry Richardson is a massive drive blocker, but his teammates viewed him as the "silent giant," letting his play on the field do the talking. A highly intelligent athlete, he graduated from high school after only three years and then took just a little over three years to earn his degree at Clemson.

To those that label him "looks like Tarzan and plays like Jane," get your vision checked. Richardson lacks muscle tone, disqualifying any comparisons to Tarzan. And with a combined blocking consistency grade of 85.71% and 134 knockdown blocks, Jane must be one aggressive woman.

Projected as a RT. I respect a guy that doesn't run his mouth.

Kevin Robinson

6'0 190

Utah State

There may be bigger names in college football, but the statistics prove it - there isn't a more consistent big-play threat in the country than Robinson. At the end of the 2007 season, Robinson became the NCAA career all-purpose yards per play record holder with a 16.16 average on 6,479 career yards in 401 plays. Robinson, or "K-Rob," is a very good athlete with the blend of initial quickness, acceleration and top end speed to help an NFL team early in his career as a receiver and return specialist - a position from which he has generated nine scores on a combination of punts and kickoffs - including one during the East West Shrine Game.

This guy sounds like the best pick on all of Sunday. We can go young and maybe let go of Eddie Drummond and actually get some use out of Robinson.

I love the Chiefs draft, they absolutely crushed it. I also totally agree about respecting the silent giant. It is ok to officially be excited about the Chiefs again! Now, here's to hoping these guys aren't too tough to sign and get in camp on time. Then we can really see if Brodie Croyle is the man or not.

Chiefs should be on the phone with Drew Radovich and John Sullivan......I was surprised they went TE again in the 7th.

I love that they went against the grain and took three non- 1A guys from Utah State, Gardner Webb and Grand Valley State. It gives me a lot of hope in their scouting.

Do you mean John Sullivan, the center from Notre Dame? The Vikings drafted him in the 6th round.

Musta been asleep at the wheel on that one.....

BTW Herm said in the post-draft presser that they will be bringing in TWENTY ONE (!!) free agents....
