In a keep 2 I just keep the best players. There aren't enough players being kept to make the round value matter to me. Because of this I would keep Taylor and start the season with the best RB duo in the league.

I get that when we're talking 5th round or higher, but first 4 rounds in a 10 team league you're still getting top players. In this scenario it's 3rd round vs 12th

My thought is to keep LaPorta, especially if your rules are TE premium. He is probably going to have a longer productive career than Taylor that you will retain rights to, and you get to do that with your last round pick. In a 10 team league, you can still get a good quality running back with your third round pick. Maybe in two drafts from now that could be Taylor again.
