Keepers - value or best players (1 Viewer)

12 team .5 PPR. Picking at the 5 spot snake draft. Trying to decide if I should go value or best player. Can keep a total of 2 players for a max of 2 years.

Jefferson, Gibbs , Taylor- if keep 2 of these players would cost my 1st & 2nd RD picks
Or
Laporta- 17th round
London - 5th round
Ridley- 15th round ( 1 year left)
I don’t think any teams picking before me are keeping any 1st rounders. Players back in the pool if I go value

If you only keep one will you lose a 1st rounder or 2nd rounder.

Typically I am in the "keep the best players" camp with this few keepers so I would lean keeping Jefferson and whichever RB you like best. But since you are losing pick 1.05 I could be talked out of it (assuming keeping one would take your 2nd round pick) if those 7 players will be available and you like Lamb, Chase, ARSM or Barkley over the guys you would be throwing back in. I say that because worse case scenario you get your guy back at 1.05 anyway but you get LaPorte to go along with it (yes I would have LaPorta as your 3rd choice.

Yeah I think I keep 2 as well. get 2 first rounders for the cost of a first and a second. Doesn't make sense to keep just 1 as you don't get the second round discount.

The other option would be LaPorta and London and then grab one of those with 1.05. But then you don't get that true 2nd top 10 pick. LaPorta could smash again but I think I lean keeping 2 of the top three. Jefferson and Gibbs for me but I have a soft spot for Taylor this year. Think he's going to do very well.
