Are you okay with trading your depth with the possibility of getting burned by injury and finishing at the bottom or would you rather go all season knowing you should finish 4-6 range and hopefully make the playoffs?
Just curious as to how the majority of fantasy footballers think in regards to this issue...
Personally, if I feel as though I am on my way to the playoffs already, I will start to try and trade away any and all depth trying to make a run at the title. I am reluctant to do this before the majority of bye weeks though. Am I too conservative?

$$$ league. I typically try to keep my depth early in the season as long as I am in the hunt for the playoffs (Top 4 only make the playoffs). Then trade away much of the depth for studs if I can around week 8-9, but still keep at least one startable backup at RB. On the other hand, if after week 5 or so, I'm not anywhere near the top 6 or so spots I will trade it all away in an attempt to make the playoffs and forgo the detph.
I will always do as many 2 for 1 trades or 3 for 2 trades as possible. Shooting for big game is the best way to win titles even if you have to over pay for that STUD.In fact the best part about having quality depth is being able to keep your studs intact and hopefully add another one.
