I'm in a 12 man, 0.5 PPR two keeper league. Here's my options and the associated pick I lose this season if I kept that player (Draft order is TBD):
  • QB Patrick Mahomes -> 2nd rounder
  • RB Jonathan Taylor -> 4th rounder
  • WR Diontae Johnson -> 6th rounder
  • RB Brian Robinson Jr -> 7th rounder
  • TE Trey McBride -> 8th rounder
  • QB Jordan Love -> 8th rounder
  • RB Jerome Ford -> 8th rounder
  • RB De'Von Achane -> 9th rounder
I am most definitely leaning towards JT w/ 4th and Achane w/ 9th, but wanted to confirm my choices here. McBride or Love in the 8th is slightly tempting too.

With this few keepers I would just keep the best players. Part of what factors into what makes the "best players" is position scarcity. So while Mahomes would be easily the best player he doesn't fit here (assuming a 1 QB league).

I could see going one of two ways with your second keeper (JT is a foregone conclusion and must keep). The second boils down to McBride or Achane. If you are a risk taker and want to shoot for upside then it's Achane all day long. He has the potential to be a top 5 RB if he stays on the field. However, if you are more risk averse and want a safer floor then I go with McBride for my second keeper.

For me, I shoot for the stars and keep Taylor and Achane.

Taylor and Achane for me. That is amazing value for Achane in the 9th. You lock up your 2 RB positions with guys that have RB 1 potential and only spend a 4th and a 9th.

With it being 0.5PPR, it does favor it slightly to the RBs compared with a full 1PPR. For this reason I can't pass up the great value on those two RBs.
